According to MacRumors, Apple's iOS 15.4 and iPadOS 15.4 releases were released to the public last week, and one of the new changes is to add a quick action to "scan documents" for the notes app for iPhones and iPads to quickly scan printed or handwritten text.
Apple recently shared a video with step-by-step instructions on how to use the scan document feature.
On devices running iOS15.4 or iPadOS15.4, simply open the Notes app, tap the camera icon, and tap Scan Documents.
At this point, a scanning box will appear at the bottom of the screen, point the lens at the text that needs to be recognized, and the system will automatically convert the contents of the scan box into a document.
Once you've confirmed the text content, click Insert to edit the text.
It is worth mentioning that when the lens moves from the text to the blank space, the text also disappears. You can adjust the position of the scanning box until the desired text content is recognized.
