Looking at the development trajectory of independent off-road, in fact, it will be found that the Great Wall is not the first person to eat crabs, because the earliest development of off-road vehicles must be Beijing off-road, from the beginning of BJ212, to the later BJ40, are the symbol of Beijing off-road in the off-road market in recent years. So looking at the Up-and-Coming Star of the Great Wall, Beijing Off-Road naturally couldn't sit still, and also exposed a set of design sketches about BJ60.
The familiar hunky look
People who know autonomous off-road know that the BJ series is the most well-known in Beijing off-road, especially its BJ40, which has also been a big hit because of the movie "Wolf Warrior". However, for Beijing off-road, seeing that off-road vehicles are so hot, it is still a little worse to rely on BJ40 to compete, so the BJ60 with higher positioning was born, and the direct competitor of this car is the Tank 500.
As can be seen from the picture, the BJ60 is full of a strong hardcore atmosphere, for example, the front face still adopts a very familiar five-hole grille, and the two sides use a large number of rounded rectangular designs and are integrated with the intake grille. At present, the BJ series created by Beijing off-road, although it has a certain reputation in the off-road market, is far inferior to the tanks of the Great Wall in terms of influence. Take the BJ40 as an example, the same is a hardcore off-road vehicle, the price range of the BJ40 is only 15.98-26.99 million yuan, the price is even lower than the tank 300, but in terms of sales, BJ40 single-month sales are basically around 2,000 vehicles, which is still achieved in the case of a better market, and the tank 300 can achieve nearly 10,000 single-month delivery results due to production capacity restrictions.
And just from the perspective of BJ60's product strength, if it is to be compared with the tank 500, it is also slightly inferior. In terms of space, for example, the BJ60 is not small, but the tank 500 is even better, which has 50mm more wheelbase than the BJ60. What's more, the Tank 500 is generous in terms of power, and in this era of small displacement engines, a 2.0T engine is already a large displacement. The tank 500 is equipped with a 3.0T V6 engine independently developed by the Great Wall, the maximum horsepower reaches 354Ps, the maximum torque reaches 500N·m, the transmission is a matching 9AT gearbox, and the standard is equipped with a new intelligent four-wheel drive system, but the consequence of this is that the price will rub up, so the starting price of the tank 500 has reached 335,000 yuan.
For BJ60, its most obvious advantage is the price, from the pictures circulating on the Internet, the starting price of BJ60 may be around 200,000, such a low threshold will inevitably bring stronger competitiveness, after all, tank 500 will sell to more than 330,000, is not sure whether the arrival of the real car will give us a surprise?
