Xincheng Technology's net profit in 2021 was HK$38.282 million, up 95% year-on-year

Jiwei Network News On March 23, Xincheng Technology released the 2021 annual results announcement, achieving operating income and securities investment income of HK$323 million, an increase of 19.38% year-on-year; the company's equity holders' profit attributable to the year was about HK$38.282 million, an increase of about 95% year-on-year.

Chip Cheng Technology said that the Group continues to be the core of SMT equipment manufacturing and related business development. As at 31 December 2021, the Group's annual gross profit margin in SMT equipment manufacturing and related business segments was approximately 41%, essentially unchanged year-on-year. Segment revenue also increased by approximately HK$75,053,000 year-on-year to approximately HK$308,837,000.

In terms of product innovation, although the global industrial chain continues to be under pressure in 2021, the Group still innovates and launches three products, including semiconductor chip laminated solid crystal machine equipment, semiconductor packaging reflow soldering furnace, and modular intelligent multi-channel curing furnace. The Group obtained a total of 13 patents during the year, including 3 invention patents and 8 utility model patents, and continued to study in the professional field.

In recent years, with the updating of information technology such as 5G and artificial intelligence and the continuous integration with the real economy, the scope of scenario application has gradually expanded. With the development of the country and the improvement of national living standards, consumer demand, equipment demand, communication demand, etc. have expanded accordingly, and the manufacturing industry has become increasingly digital and intelligent, upgrading and developing to "China's intelligent manufacturing". Guided by the situation, the Group actively pays attention to market and industry trends and participates in industrial transformation.

Xincheng Technology said that the Group has always attached importance to professional technology, consolidating advantages and innovating. During the year, the Group took the lead in developing and producing the industry-leading "Double Electromagnetic Pump Selective Wave Soldering", which met the strict requirements of high cleanliness in the semiconductor industry and the high difficulty of soldering in the field of Mini LED, broke through technical problems, provided customers with effective soldering solutions, and realized the transformation to the corporate role of "manufacturing solution provider". In addition, during the year, the Group successfully developed a high-precision lamination solid crystal device (Die Attach) "dedicated lamination solid crystal machine", using micron-level precision technology to complete the pad PAD lamination, to achieve high speed and high precision (PICK & Place) core functions. Other key products include the increasing application of "full nitrogen recharge reflow soldering" in the semiconductor industry and Mini LED in the past two years.

At the same time, Xincheng Technology actively participates in the strategic planning of the state to promote the development of new energy storage and promote the green development of enterprises. During the year, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Xincheng Technology Macau Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Qianhai Oriental New Energy Co., Ltd., Zhongxin Electric Union (Zhuhai Hengqin) Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was established as a joint venture to undertake the development, construction and operation of the power storage peaking and frequency regulation power station project, and plans to further develop other new energy storage projects and smart energy projects in the future, to help the country achieve the emission reduction goal of "carbon peaking in 2030 and carbon neutrality in 2060", and to help build a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system.
