On March 22, Zhichepai learned from foreign media that the price of the 2022 Mercedes-AMG SL has been announced. At present, the roadster has begun to accept reservations in Germany, and the price of the SL 55 configuration is 158240.25 euros (about 1.1045 million yuan), and the price of the SL 63 is 187097.75 euros (about 1.3059 million yuan).
Both versions of the car are equipped with twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engines, which produce 476ps (469hp/350kW) and 700N·m (516lb-ft) of torque in the smaller version, with an acceleration of about 3.9 seconds per 100 km/h. The more powerful model boasts 585ps (577hp/430kW) and 800N·m (590lb-ft) of torque, three-tenths of a second faster.
The top speeds of the two models are 295 and 315 kph respectively, the average fuel consumption of the SL 55 is 12.2-13.0L/100km, and the average fuel consumption of the SL 63 is 12.5-13.0L/100 km. The more powerful model weighs 20 kg and reaches 1970 kg more than the current entry-level model, and CO2 emissions have increased from 294-277 g/km of the base model to 294-282 g/km.
The new car comes standard with a dual-clutch nine-speed automatic transmission and a 4Matic+ all-wheel drive system. The multi-link front suspension with five control arms and rear five-link design is also on deck, as is the active rear wheel steering. The SL 63 comes standard with the AMGRide Control system, which is optional for the SL 55. The two new cars use 19-inch and 20-inch wheels, respectively, and there are many other available models for an additional fee.
In addition, the all-new SL comes with a range of paint finishes, three different roof colors, and the common AMG Aerodynamics, AMG Carbon, AMG Chrome, AMG Night, and AMG Night II packages. In addition, the new SL offers a foldable convertible with a 2+2 seat configuration.
