The bZ4X is Toyota's first model based on the e-TNGA pure electric architecture and will be produced by two joint ventures, FAW Toyota and GAC Toyota. In the previous internal plan, the bZ4X has been in the form of a "pure electric version" of the RAV4, and the two are similar in size. The online car market learned from FAW Toyota dealers that the bZ4X will be launched in May.

The new car is available in two versions, front-mounted single-motor and dual-motor versions, with a maximum power of 150 kW for single-motor models and 160 kW for dual-motor models, and a dual-motor version with Subaru X-MODE four-wheel drive technology. In terms of endurance, the new car is equipped with a 71.4kWh battery pack jointly developed with CATL, which can provide 500km of battery life under WLTC conditions.
