According to the update log of Microsoft's official support website, the March 2022 firmware update for Surface Laptop 3 with AMD processors brings the following:
Improved system stability and fixed bugs that caused the Blue Screen of Death.
Improved compatibility with Surface Dock 2.
New graphics driver with GPU stability improvements and bug fixes.
Windows 11 features for improved battery life.
Microsoft has updated many Surface devices with the mysterious Windows 11 features to improve battery life, but the company has yet to explain how it works. Interestingly, Microsoft released the exact battery optimizations for Intel-based Surface Laptop 3 in October 2021, just after the release of Windows 11 systems.

Microsoft said that if a user's device is running Windows 10 May 2020 or later, the March 2022 firmware update can be installed for amD-based Surface Laptop 3. Also, there are no known issues with this update.
