The beta phase will offer Overwatch 2's 5v5 PvP mode, a new Push mode, a Ping system, four hero redoes (Orissa, Iron Fist of Doom, Fortress, Shadow), a new hero (Sojourn), all Overwatch original maps, plus four new maps.
During the live broadcast, Overwatch 2 announced some details of the development process. According to a release earlier this week, the development team's current plan is to launch overwatch 2's PvE elements separately from the traditional multiplayer parts to allow more time for the PvE part to be polished. Last November, Blizzard announced that both Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4 would skip tickets until at least 2023.
