In fact, in 2018, there was news that Ukraine had sold a 3D mobile air defense radar system to the US Army, the model 36D6M1-13D, and sold for $797.45.
As part of a modern automatic air defense system, this radar can not only detect low-altitude flying targets, but also be able to control aircraft between military and civilian aircraft, so is the United States buying this system really looking at the performance of this radar?
Wrong, the performance of the active radar of the United States is much stronger than this radar, the performance of this radar is not worth mentioning at all in their eyes, the reason why the United States bought this radar is because the Russian air defense missile S-300PMU1 uses this radar, the United States can use this radar to simulate Russia's ground air defense forces, and then carry out targeted training, and the United States has not purchased the Ukrainian radar system once or twice.

Both systems can automatically locate enemy artillery and missile positions, and can also carry out 10 different artillery counterattacks in different directions over a range of 24 kilometers to improve the defense capabilities of the Ukrainian military and, most importantly, to reduce the damage to civilian lives.

Ukraine has sold several radars to the United States, the consequences are very serious, the Russian Navy's capital ships loaded on the radar system and the Continental Navy's main battleships have the same series of radars, such as the "Mineral-ME" carrier-based multi-function radar sold by Ukraine to the United States, this radar, in China and Russia are widely used, especially the original version of the radar used by China's 052D destroyers.
Ukraine said in the newspaper that the United States is likely to conduct deciphering research on this radar, and it is mainly aimed at China, when China's navy will face the most serious threat.
Sino-US relations have always been relatively tense, especially in the Taiwan Strait region, the so-called know thyself and know the other can survive a hundred battles, in 2020, the United States high-profile claim has bought the Miner-ME ship-borne over-the-horizon radar from Ukraine, to evaluate this radar, to see its combat performance, mainly to see how much threat the Chinese navy is to the US Navy, to what extent.

The matter was made public in 2020, but in fact the delivery was completed in 2019, and many people were more worried after hearing the news, in case the United States really has this important information, is it a huge harm to the mainland? First of all, I can say to you with certainty, of course not, as to why, let's move on.
Let's first understand the history of Mineral-ME, this radar system is a unique skywave radar system developed by the former Soviet Union between 1970 and 1980, can also be called "Miniral" radar system, and NATO calls it "music station", there are three in total, namely Titanit, Monolit, Mineral, which is now an antique-level existence.
At that time, Russia and Ukraine, the largest members of the Soviet Union, both inherited this radar, and in the early days, China introduced Russia's Modern-class destroyers with the original Mineral-ME radar.
This radar is the use of atmospheric waveguide effect, refracted radar can achieve over-the-horizon detection, although the accuracy is not too high, clutter and more, but there are many advantages, such as small size, light weight, can be widely used in many ships, such as aircraft carriers, destroyers and frigates and other ships.
This radar has three working modes, divided into active, passive and collaborative positioning mode, can be applied to different environments of combat, in the active detection mode, can achieve 360 degrees without dead angle detection, detection distance can reach up to 250 kilometers, and in passive mode, can reach 450 kilometers of detection distance, if there is no atmospheric waveguide effect, the maximum detection distance is only more than 100 kilometers.
For the mainland and Russian navies, the South China Sea, the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea and other regions have atmospheric waveguide effects in the spring and summer, so at that time most of the radars used on mainland and Russian ships were like this, almost becoming the standard, in this case, the United States purchased this system, the purpose is naturally self-evident.
After Russia learned of Ukraine's behavior, it was also angry and scolded, but it did not help, but unfortunately, even if the United States tested the key information, it would only be useful to Russia, after all, Russia has been eating the old money, and has not yet developed a more advanced radar existence.
Turning to the mainland, in 1999 and 2001, the Chinese navy received a total of 4 Hyundai-class destroyers, and many high-tech were on it, including what we call "music stations" today, and also introduced a number of original Mineral-ME radar systems installed on the Type 052B destroyers.
However, it was not long after that the 724 Research Institute of the mainland copied and improved it, and then called it the "366 radar system", which was widely installed in the 052 series of 052D and 052C destroyers on the mainland, you know, these two battleships have an extraordinary status on the mainland and are the backbone of the navy.
Since the introduction of this system, the mainland has immediately improved its technology, developed a new radar system, even if the appearance is the same, the internal performance is almost completely different, you know, no matter what kind of weapons China imports, it will be without exception to carry out large-scale technical improvements and upgrades, the mainland's 366 radar system and The Mineral ME radar compared to the five working frequency bands are all different, even the working mode is not the same, So continental's 366 radar system is not a replica of the Mineral ME.
Therefore, even if the United States obtains the original radar of The Mineral ME and develops a special jammer, it will not pose a threat to the mainland, and our Chinese radar technology is constantly improving, which is enough to deal with the abnormal situation.
In addition, with the continuous development of China, the Navy is also developing into the digital age, actively establishing a long-range sea search system, such as early warning helicopters, maritime drones and maritime patrol aircraft to feel the battlefield situation at sea, and the biggest role of the 366 radar is to make up for it just in case.
And the job of the music station and 366 is to search for the sea and guide the initial anti-ship missile operations, and the Anti-ship missile technology of the Chinese Navy has been fully developed, in a sense, the 366 radar system has become an obsolete product of the continental navy.
At the same time, China pays more attention to the electronic scanning and control array radar to search the sea, H/LJG-346, H/LJG-346A and other large phased array radars are known as "China Aegis" by the mainland, and there is also a certain ability to search for the sea, and then there is no trace of the 366 radar system on the mainland's latest 055-type missile destroyer, which directly integrates the 366 radar system into the integrated radio frequency sensor.
It can be seen from these aspects that although Ukraine does not talk about "martial virtue", earns Chinese money and then turns around to the United States to get money twice, stabs the mainland in the back, and wants to put the mainland in danger, they did not expect that the mainland is not a rigid country.
Not only have they been improved on the basis of them, but they have also developed a more advanced radar system, and even the United States does not want to understand the real strength of the Chinese Navy through this "despicable" means.
