Destiny fans waited a long time for a new expansion pack, and Bungie didn't waste any patience. Both from a narrative perspective and a gameplay system, "The Phantom of the Evil Ji" is one of the studio's most successful expansion packs, with complex gameplay that especially satisfies the preferences of long-time fans. However, the all-round depth mechanics that the expansion pack brings also mean that it is more difficult for new and returning players to get started. For those who have successfully mastered the game content, the "Evil Shadow" has brought many surprises and rewards.

The early story of Destiny 2 has been brewing for this conflict for a long time. The many plot fragments are connected together, and I am amazed by the early story preparation. Savatouen is an interesting and fascinating villain, and the story finally turns to her chapter. However, the more brilliant part of the narrative of "Evil Ji Ghost" lies in the characters and plot. The previous simple showdown between light and darkness has been completely rewritten in this expansion pack, and the motivations and moral dilemmas of the characters that led to this transformation have long been planted.

The campaign plot of this expansion pack is particularly emotional. The expansion pack's strengths lie in the excellent combat design and surprising environment design, while the new legendary difficulty further enhances the gameplay experience. If you play at this difficulty, the mission lasts longer, the player also needs to carefully consider the outfit and strategy, and the final reward is definitely worth the upfront effort. I'm particularly fond of brand new enemies who can use light energy, and the changes they bring to the overall combat are surprising. As a challenging enemy, their addition is the most exciting on the battlefield and is also well integrated with the setting.

Regardless of the enemy I'm fighting against, I'm happy with the balance in legendary missions, whether it's a solo player or a team of energetics that's fun and challenging at the same time. The campaign mission is a mysterious story in the brain of a god stick, stringing together memories with hidden truths, and the overall effect is great. The narrative framework also leaves plenty of room for the story after the battle.

The new world of thrones is also the most exotic destination in the series for two main reasons. One is Sawatoon's towering palace, which is a testament to her power and "beauty". In addition to the palatial art style, there is a barren and dirty alien swamp. No matter in which scene, there are many secrets waiting to be revealed, and there are many amazing scenery waiting for you to watch.

Weapon forging is also a critically acclaimed new gameplay in this expansion pack, with guardians having the opportunity to craft their favorite new weapons. Reaching the highest stats requires additional experience for each weapon liver in addition to the character's light and so on. The option to be able to deeply micro-deploy is naturally a few numbers, but this system further exacerbates the already serious currency inflation problem of the series. Even for veteran players the process requires a lot of things to complete, and I find myself frantically pouring resources most of the time into hopes of making what I want. I was also discouraged by some of the weapons that could not be crafted, and some of the most attractive new weapons could not be obtained by forging.

In the new weapon forging system, the protagonist is naturally a new weapon type: Yan Yue. This mixed weapon is especially fun to play. I like to fire at the enemy group first, release a shield, and then rush into the melee attack. This new weapon has the effect it deserves, and while playing it is incredibly fresh, it also digs out the gameplay that players need.

The new Void Branch class further expands the outfitting space provided by the weapon forging system, which is structured like the Ice Shadow class. Persuading the new Void Class is very flexible and powerful. A combination of skills and superpowers can rewrite any character's battlefield performance. Now, the only problem is that Ice Shadow and Void are the only classes I want to play, and the said good lightning and fire classes should be redone on the agenda, and now it's a little less flavorful to play.

In addition to the main campaign, there are plenty of special weapon missions, new multiplayer competitive missions, and new exploration missions to play. If you choose to buy a Season Pass, you can play more. Overall, whether it's a new quest or a raid-unlocked story quest, the focus of this expansion pack is the same as last year's content, which is a lot of enemies, a lot of space, and a lot of opportunities for destruction. I especially enjoy playing fountains in Throne World, where I rotate between offense and defense every day. Like the question of resources and currency, my biggest frustration with the new campaign is that there are more and more descriptions and nouns for various things, and even die-hard fans who are particularly interested in the plot setting are confusing to read.

The leader of the high-level activities is, of course, a brand new raid. The Apostle Oath takes players on a journey into the mysterious Pyramid Ship, one of the game's newest scenes, filled with arcane experiments and remnants of lost cultures. Here players need to remember a variety of inscriptions to cooperate with the level, remember that all the inscription patterns bring a sense of achievement is still a lot. However, although the gameplay mechanics are novel, I still hope that I will need to memorize the inscription less.

Phantom of the Evil Is an excellent expansion pack that focuses on customizing the player experience and rewards veteran players for their commitment to the story and system. The expansion pack isn't easy for new players, but Bungie's developers seem willing to pay that price. The long story that began in 2014 is getting better, and in the future, developers may be more inclined to build games around fans who have been inseparable for many years.
