It's a "final story" week. Sony unveiled the final set of games for PlayStation Now users, but developer Techland also revealed the last update to Dying Light's "Hell Raid" DLC.
A free update to this dark fantasy style DLC will go live on May 5th and brings various bug fixes and product quality improvements. These all sound great, with balanced adjustments and economic changes running through the process, but the real highlight of this update is a weapon: Hellraid's new (and only) firearm, the Death Messenger Shotgun.
Compared to previous axes and swords, this shotgun was obtained by completing the bounty mission of "loading the undead", and of course has a powerful impact. Those nasty skeletons quickly turned into a pile of white bones in front of the Death Messenger Shotgun.
Techland promises that it will release full patch notes for this update soon.
For those still playing The Lost Light 1 Hell Raid DLC (released in 2020), this is a great opportunity to look forward to and look back at the game's past.
