According to the "Securities Daily" report, 245 Mercedes-Benz EQC owners recently issued a joint statement, saying that they resolutely disagreed with Beijing Benz's recall arrangement on EQC, and put forward 7 questions and 4 appeals to Mercedes-Benz officials, requiring manufacturers to immediately recall and solve the vehicle problem. It is reported that this is the third time since 2022 that EQC car owners have taken the form of public statements to protect their rights in just three months.

A representative of the owner of the rights car said: "Mercedes-Benz issued an EQC recall notice on February 22, but it will not recall the vehicle until August 15, and if we continue to drive a defective car for 6 months, we are playing with the life safety of all EQC owners, and we firmly disagree with 1."

In this regard, Mercedes-Benz recalled the car for reasons such as "manufacturing deviation of the electric drive module", but the owner was not satisfied with the recall plan of Mercedes-Benz.

In the latest joint statement, EQC owners put forward four demands: hope that Mercedes-Benz will immediately start the recall plan to eliminate safety hazards; according to the new version of the three-pack policy, provide the option of returning and replacing the car for owners who have replaced the motor; provide a lifetime warranty for all recalled vehicles that have had three electric failures; and give certain standard second-hand car depreciation compensation to the owners who have replaced the motor.
