This price is actually a little close to the Qin PLUS of different series of the same brand, but the overall is higher. When we looked at the body parameters of BYD Qin PLUS, we found that the wheelbase of 2718mm was exactly the same as that of the destroyer 05. The difference between the lengths is only 15mm. In other words, the relationship between the two cars is more like brotherhood, sharing the chassis and production line.
Looking at the powertrain of the two vehicles, the Destroyer 05 uses a DM-i system and has two pure electric ranges, which may be 55km and 120km respectively. The engine part is a 1.5L self-priming engine with a maximum horsepower of 110Ps. The corresponding powertrain can also be seen in the Models of Qin PLUS, which means that their powertrain is also shared. Even if there are differences after the final listing, they are very subtle.
So it begs the question, the price of the destroyer 05 is higher than that of Qin PLUS, what is the reason?
Where is Premium?
Since there is a certain difference, let's analyze where the destroyer 05 premium is. First look at the external shape, the front face and the Dynasty series are very different, the visual effect of the slightly forward-leaning net in the middle net, the interior is a plurality of banners, extending to both sides, and there is a transitional fusion of the surrounding sheet metal part. The wrapping should be good, but the comfort is not easy to say, in fact, it is the same as Qin PLUS. The color and material of the rear seats are the same, and the space performance is actually similar to that of Qin PLUS, after all, their body chassis is homologous.

Judging from the information released so far, it is true that the destroyer 05 will be slightly higher than the Qin PLUS, and in theory their chassis and power unit are the same. According to the performance of the destroyer 05, the difference between one and twenty thousand yuan is actually acceptable. Especially today, when independent brands are going up, buying domestic cars is not just for the sake of cheap prices, but for the real improvement of product strength.
There is also an uncertain factor in this, that is, the level of configuration. The configuration level of Qin PLUS is relatively good, and the whole series is equipped with 6 airbags, parking radar, reversing image, cruise control, keyless entry, one-key start, full LED headlights, automatic headlights, and automatic air conditioning. If the Destroyer 05 can perform similarly, it is still a bit competitive.
Attentive friends will find that the Dynasty series and the warship series are separate, and the warship series belongs to the ocean network. This approach is quite interesting, one possibility is that BYD wants to do two systems, a bit like North and South Volkswagen, North and South Toyota. Another possibility is that BYD wants to do direct operations.
