A tribute to the classics, carrying on the past
In terms of appearance, ID.Buzz implanted with the DNA of the iconic T1 of the 1950s. The T1's driver's seat is located above the front axle and has almost no front overhang. And ID. Buzz's front suspension is also short, but at the same time it guarantees security and a rich technology configuration.
The uniquely shaped LED headlights and V-shaped panels are one of the typical features of this model, in addition to the optional two-tone body coating.
The visual effect in the car is relatively spacious, 2-3 seat layout, the luggage space capacity after full load can reach 1121 liters, the second row of seats can be reclined in equal proportions, after all reclining, the luggage compartment capacity can be expanded to 2205 liters.
ID. Buzz Cargo models can be equipped with a two- or three-seat layout in the front row according to different user needs, separated by a fixed partition and a 3.9 cubic meter cargo compartment at the rear. This zero-emission van can be loaded with two transverse European standard pallets.
ID. Buzz and ID. The Buzz Cargo has a wheelbase of 2988 mm, which is not much different from the current T6.1 model. The length of the car is 4712 mm, the long wheelbase, the short length of the car, and the space utilization rate is high. Two IDs. Buzz's vehicle height is 1937 mm or 1938 mm depending on the configuration (including roof aerodynamic components), the 1985 mm vehicle width is 81 mm wider than the T6.1 model, and the steering diameter is 11.1 m.

Made in Germany, pure electric platform
Brand new ID. Buzz and ID. Buzz Cargo models will be produced at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles' main plant in Hanover, with most of the ID. The parts for the Buzz Electric Drive System module are manufactured in Germany by the Components division of the Volkswagen Group and meet the highest quality standards. Both cars can be said to be originally made in Germany.
In terms of platform, ID. Buzz is based on a modular electric drive platform (MEB) and is produced at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles' plant in Hanover. The new electrical and electronic architecture can be used for ID. Buzz and all ID. models delivered offer OTA remote upgrades.
Also ID. Buzz and ID. Buzz Cargo will come standard with the Car2X local traffic warning system, which will grasp the danger information in real time through signals shared by other vehicles and traffic facilities. Also standard is the Front Assist pre-crash safety system, which also includes lane keeping on the MPV model.
The new car can charge up to 170 kW, plug and charge, and support two-way charging. Models launched in the European market will be equipped with a 77 kWh battery pack (total capacity: 82 kWh). Like the horizontally opposed engine of the T1 model, a 150 kW electric motor is used to drive the rear axle.
In terms of charging time, lithium-ion batteries can achieve 11 kilowatts of slow charging through charging wall boxes or public charging piles, and the fast charging power can reach 170 kilowatts, and theoretically 30 minutes can be charged from 5% to 80%.
Thanks to the battery system at the bottom of the vehicle and the lightweight electric drive system, the vehicle has a balanced front and rear weight distribution and a low center of gravity, optimizing handling and agility.

It is understood that the two new cars will start pre-sale in the European market in May this year, and will be listed in some European countries in the autumn of this year. By ID.
