Manual transmission Supra will be released
Recently, according to foreign media reports, Toyota Supra will provide manual transmissions for the six-cylinder version, and the new car may be released at the end of April this year.

The current Supra does not have a manual transmission version, while the sister model BMW Z4 does. But the Z4's manual gear is only installed in the 2.0T entry-level version, which actually exists to drive down the price, not for driving pleasure. The manual version of the Supra will only appear on the 3.0T model, which shows that the positioning of the two cars is more clear. Indeed, people who can buy Supra must have a certain pursuit of driving experience, and there may be some JDM complex, and it is most appropriate to open the manual transmission.
It is a little pity that since they are all out of the manual gear, it is better to match the 2.0T with the manual gear, so that the horsepower car can also enjoy the same operation pleasure. However, even if the manual version of Supra is launched, the chances of being introduced into The country are very slim. Buyers of Chinese mainland who want to buy may have to hope for parallel imports.
Jaguar's new electric platform
According to Jaguar Land Rover, it will partner with Magna Group to launch a new electric vehicle platform, Panthera. It is speculated that the platform will be used to produce large SUVs, mid-size SUVs, and cars.
As an internationally renowned car oem, Magna has partnered with mercedes-Benz Group, BMW Group, Toyota Group and Jaguar Land Rover Group to manufacture many car series of various brands. In 2018, Magna partnered with Jaguar to produce the I-PACE, a pure electric SUV. It was the brand's first pure electric SUV and was also introduced to the Chinese market, but the market performance was not good, and the car has stopped selling.
Nonetheless, Jaguar CEO Thierry Bolloré said: "In 2025 Jaguar transforms into a pure electric brand and targets the Bentley, Maybach ultra-luxury car market. Until then, Jaguar will stop introducing any new models. "It's a bit crazy. Although Jaguar has historically fought with Bentley in the sports and luxury market, in recent years Jaguar has obviously not been able to compete with these ultra-luxury brands. This is true in the field of fuel vehicles, and it will be true in the field of pure electricity.
However, according to Jaguar Land Rover's third quarter 2021 earnings report, its global revenue reached £4.7 billion, up 22% sequentially and its cash flow rose to £164 million. At least Jaguar Land Rover is moving in a good direction.
Nissan Qashqai e-POWER
The hybrid system of The Two Fields, whether it is technical maturity or market reputation, has reached a very high level, and Nissan, which is also a Japanese brand, has obviously lagged behind a lot in the promotion of hybrid models. However, in the past two years, Nissan has also made up its mind to launch more hybrid models in the Chinese mainland market. In addition to the Xuanyi e-POWER that came in first, according to Nissan staff, The X-Jun e-POWER is also arranging for the introduction.
In addition, the official map of Qashqai e-POWER has been released, and the new car may be listed in Europe first, and then introduced into China at the same time as the new Qashqai is produced.
You can see that the appearance of the Qashqa e-POWER is basically the same as that of the new Qashqai, and the large size of the net and the split headlights make the front face look very sharp. At the same time, the shape of the lower encirclement and fog light area is also very sporty. In addition to the e-POWER logo on the side of the car, it is not different from the regular version.
In terms of power, the Qashqa e-POWER is equipped with a 1.5T three-cylinder engine with variable compression ratio technology, the compression ratio can be changed between 8:1 and 14:1, and the maximum horsepower of the engine is 154Ps, but it does not directly drive the wheels, but charges the battery or directly power the motor. With a maximum horsepower of 190Ps, Nissan's newly developed Linear Tune system (which monitors the output of the electric motor and increases the engine speed) makes its driving experience very similar to that of conventional fuel vehicles.
