Geely Automobile: Total sales in February were 78,478 units, and new energy sales were 14,501 vehicles

On March 7, Geely Automobile announced that it had announced its February car sales report card.

According to the announcement, the total sales of cars in February were 78,478 units, an increase of about 2% year-on-year and a decrease of about 46% month-on-month, mainly due to the shortage of body electronic stability system (ESP) chips and the Spring Festival holiday.

In terms of new energy, sales of pure electric vehicles (BEVs, including power exchanges) increased by 1,430% y/y to approximately 12,200 units, and sales of plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEVs) increased by 114% y/y to 2,046 units.

It is worth mentioning that Geely Automobile's total sales in January were 146,380 units, which performed well overseas and in new energy, and achieved a good start. Geely's sales of new energy vehicles reached 17,928 units in January, a record high. Among them, Geely Automobile's pure electric models increased by about 641% year-on-year; in terms of exports, Geely's january export volume increased by 38.5% year-on-year to 13,890 units; among them, Binyue, Haoyue and other products were welcomed in Southeast Asian countries, Chile and other markets.

Geely Automobile's total sales for the full year 2021 will be 1.328 million units, and the target for 2022 is set at 1.65 million units. As the sales champion of its own brand, from the current layout of Geely Automobile, with the addition of Emgrand L, the new generation of Boyue and Raytheon power models, the Geely brand is expected to expand on the basis of consolidating the existing basic disk. The performance of the Lynk & Co brand, the Krypton brand, the geometry brand and the Blue Rui brand will also determine the completion of Geely Automobile's annual goals, especially the Kr brand and the Lynk & Co brand, ZEEKR 001 and Lynk & Co 09 Whether the two major models can successfully form a certain sales scale this year is very important.
