After two rounds of negotiations, Ukraine still made a compromise. According to CCTV news, Ukrainian negotiator Vad Arahamia said a few days ago that due to NATO's cold response to Ukraine's application for membership, Ukraine is ready to discuss a "non-NATO model" with Russia. Previously, Putin has made it clear that if it wants to have dialogue and solve problems, Ukraine must meet all of Russia's requirements, that is, refuse to join NATO, achieve "demilitarization" and "de-Nazismization", and at the same time recognize Russia's sovereignty over Crimea, and recognize that the sovereignty of Donetsk and Luhansk is the administrative border of these two states.
Judging from the current attitude of Ukraine, they have agreed to one of these demands, that is, to give up joining NATO. However, it is really difficult to say how much credibility Ukraine's words have. And the reason why they made this decision is nothing more than because they did not get the support of the United States, did not get the cheerful permission of NATO, and the Russian offensive was too fierce, and they had to temporarily show weakness in exchange for the temporary mercy of Russia's subordinates. Of course, it is not excluded that they are using this to create a sense of crisis for the United States and NATO, so that the latter believe that Ukraine may shake hands with Russia at any time and make peace, thus giving the green light to Ukraine's application for joining the group.
I have to say that the Ukrainian government's calculations are still quite deep, but what about ambitions and calculations, without that strength, it will still be squeezed into slag by the great power game. With the previous lessons, Russia cannot continue to trust Ukraine, and the United States and NATO will not be willing to be blackmailed by Ukraine, and the pawns do not want to be pawns, and the United States must have more means to clean them up. The Ukrainian government should still ask for more blessings.
