Savor the aroma of tea and books, and feel the state of escape

A wisp of tea fragrance lasts for thousands of years, and a "Tea Classic" flows for hundreds of years.

Tea, which began in the Shennong era, has been handed down for more than 4,700 years from ancient times, almost synchronized with the history of Chinese culture. Among the tea researchers, Lu Yu is the best. His "Tea Classic" can be said to be the earliest, most complete and most comprehensive "encyclopedia" on tea in the world, in which no one can stand out for the production, picking, identification, and production of tea leaves, as well as tea drinking techniques and tea ceremony principles. It is precisely because of this book that many literati and scholars have taken this book as a guideline, interpreting the processes and methods of making tea, distinguishing tea, and tasting tea, and even giving Lu Yu the reputation of "tea saint".

The author of the "Tea Scripture Source" was finally scattered in the south, taking Lu Yu's "Tea Classic" as the foundation, and spent more than ten years, walking all over the cave where Lu Yu had been. With an almost obsessive attitude, he traces back lu Yu's life, examines the cultural and ideological background of his books, and interprets the contents of the "Tea Classic" through the method of "the way of QiWu", which truly makes people feel the power of "gewu zhizhi". The preface to the book mentions: "Those who are close to the path are expensive, those who imitate are foolish, and tea can be traced back to the source and can be approached." I believe that the author is also a different kind of practice in the search for "friendship with the ancients and the four directions", otherwise he would not have issued such an exclamation:

Turning over books does not know how difficult it is to learn the scriptures, and often the scriptures are easy to read.

Ji Ri traveled all over the ancient sage road, and Fang knew the source of true righteousness in the scriptures.

New Book Book Review‖ Taste the aroma of tea and books, and feel the state of escape (Text/Shangshan Stone)

One

One flower is one world, one leaf is one bodhi. A small piece of tea, but all-encompassing, it grows in nature, contains the principle of the change of yin and yang in heaven and earth, and has the power of nature. Lu Yu loved tea all his life, entered the Tao with tea, and eventually became a generation of tea saints. His "Tea Classic" should have three temples, but only one of them exists in this world, and it is not easy to truly understand this classic work. Now when we look at the books written by the ancients, sometimes it is difficult to understand, and they will write their views in the books, but they will not finish them all. Perhaps because writing books at that time was very expensive, bamboo jane was also very heavy to pick up, which meant that writing books should be as concise as possible. It may also be that they feel that there is no need to write so much detail, thinking that others have the same traditional cultural skills as him. It is also possible that people at that time heard about it every day and were familiar with it, and they no longer wrote it in books. Nowadays, time has passed, the Slovaks have gone, and now we have no chance to be educated in the humanistic society at that time, and then read the books of the ancients, naturally do not understand the meaning. Therefore, many people's research on the "Tea Classic" is shallow. Relying on his profound traditional cultural skills, the author Zhongnan Sanren deeply analyzes the nature of tea and explains the Tea Classic with the help of traditional theories such as the I Ching, Bagua, twenty-four solar terms and astrological signs. This is really to trace back to the source, present the content that is not written in the book, and let people understand the true knowledge of tea culture more deeply.

Two

The contents of the book", "The Way of Qiwu" and "The Four Realms of Qiwu", show the reader the cognitive process and self-cultivation method of the ancient sages on a thing, and it can also be seen that the seriousness of the ancients' curiosity is really beyond our imagination. The Book of Rites and Universities states: "Knowledge is in the lattice, and the object is later known." I think the "lattice" and "qiwu" here should be similar. When Lu Yu tastes tea, he should not just taste the taste of tea, he is looking up, thinking, feeling, he feels the power of nature from tea, that is, the process of blending yin and yang. And this kind of meticulous and meticulous ability to perceive is the "Way of Qiwu" that Lu Yu learned from Zou Fuzi. The origin of all things is the same, and through "self-cultivation, internal self-cultivation; appearance of all things, yin and yang in the Tao", whether through tea, characters, books or other things, can "borrow things to cultivate the truth, prove the truth of yin and yang", directly to the essence of the world. This is also a wonderful way for people in today's impetuous society to learn knowledge and meditate.

Three

A sentence in Lu Yu's "Tea Classic" made many tea people associate tea with virtue: "Tea is used, tastes cold, for drinking, the most suitable for people who practice frugality..." Later generations of people saw "people who practice frugality and virtue" and thought that what was mentioned here was that only people with noble moral character were suitable for drinking tea, and thus the trend of "cultivating virtue with tea" arose. The author of this book understands this sentence from another angle through the sentence breaking, thinking that this is Lu Yu saying that the "virtue" of the tea maker, this "virtue" is the law of nature, that is, "the tea people make tea in line with the natural laws of the tea itself." This natural law is "not to act for profit, not to violate the nature of things, not to go against the heavens." Therefore, the tea virtue that Lu Yu said is not profound, "the difficulty lies in removing the utilitarian heart." Lu Yu specially wrote a "Theory of Destroying Tea", which also pointed out that tea morality and tea ceremony will be destroyed by the utilitarianism and entertainment of tea people.

Four

With the development of material conditions, in the fast-paced life, many people are deeply immersed in the fragmented information of various media platforms and constantly lose themselves. Today's tea has gradually developed into what Lu Yu feared, contaminated with a strong tacky atmosphere. Many people pursue the commercial value of tea, with "things rare as expensive" constantly hoarding valuable and rare good tea, in order to sell better prices; or to drink expensive tea to highlight their own famous status; and some take tea as a performance, paying too much attention to the environment of drinking tea, the utensils for making tea, the actions of tea people in the process of making tea, their demeanor, etc., pursuing the so-called "artistic beauty". Although these have their own characteristics, they have long been contrary to the "tea virtue" advocated by the tea sanctuary thousands of years ago.

The process of making tea, making tea, and drinking tea is the process of communication between people and nature, which is the true meaning of "Dao Fa Nature". Some people say that human qualities are cultivated little by little in life, and are consciousness, cognition, and self-examination. Life can be practiced everywhere, we do not have to cling to the brightness of the surface of things, from ordinary life to understand, perceive, reflect, and improve, I believe that life will be more fresh and thorough like tea.
