Tea brings warmth to mengjiao, who has been suffering all his life

According to the zhou situation, the ancestors of Yu Chaoxian begged for tea

[Tang] Mengjiao

Don't be bored, and your mood is not troubled.

Meng Ming jade flowers exhausted, yue Ou lotus leaves empty.

Jinshui has bright colors, and Shushan Rao fang bushes.

The cloud root was cut green, and the print seam was already red.

He has received it from the nobles, and the most will be the same as the poetry.

Fortunately, he sent it to the beggar to save this disease.

In the past, children would memorize Tang poems before school age. There are many benefits of memorizing Tang poems, which can not only exercise their mouths, but also entertain guests. Whenever someone visits the door, the adults will call the children in the family to come out and chant and perform in a similar way. Among them, "Wandering Zi Yin" by Mengjiao in the Tang Dynasty is a reserved program for many people when they were children:

The mother's hand is threaded, and the wanderer's body is clothed.

The seams are tightly sewn, and I am afraid that I will be late.

Whoever says anything will be rewarded with three Chunhui.

This poem, the author has been memorizing since he was a child, but it was not until the systematic collation of Tea Poems in the Tang Dynasty that he found that the author Meng Jiao was not only a great poet, but also a tea lover. "Quan Tang Poems" includes a total of eight tea poems from Mengjiao, of which the author prefers the one "By virtue of the Zhou Situation Ancestors Yu Chaoxian Begging Tea", so I will use this poem to talk about the story of Mengjiao and tea.

Mengjiao, zi Dongye, a native of Wukang, Huzhou (present-day Deqing, Zhejiang). He participated in the imperial examination many times in his early years, but he was frustrated in the examination hall until the twelfth year of Tang Zhenyuan (796) when he finally passed the entrance examination. But this year, Meng Jiao was already forty-six years old.

Today's students see a year-long re-study as "World War II" as extremely painful. However, MengJiao only gained the title of a jinshi in nearly half a hundred years. This kind of depressed life, it is really chilling to think about. On the other hand, this kind of ecstasy after the examination is naturally different from ordinary people. This is like a spring that has been pressed for too long, suddenly released his hand, almost about to fly, so that Meng Jiao immediately chanted the famous sentence "Spring wind is proud of horseshoe disease, see all the Chang'an flowers in one day" after the examination.

After passing the entrance examination, Meng Jiao was full of confidence and prepared to enter the career path. However, the official field was more bumpy than the examination room, and the life after that was far less smooth and pleasant than he imagined. After the middle lift, he did not get an official position immediately, and only became a small Liyang lieutenant four years later. Later, because of the poetry, he abandoned the official affairs, was punished with half of the qilu, and resigned from the official. In the first year of Tang Xianzong's reign (806), Yin Zheng Yuqing of Henan engaged in land and water transport and tried to assist Lu Lang. In the ninth year of Yuan He, Zheng Yuqingzhen Shou Xingyuan, Shangquan Feng Mengjiao as a staff officer, tried Dali to comment. MengJiao passed through Fuxiang on his way to his post and suddenly fell ill and died.

To say that MengJiao's life is really enough to hold back. Fortunately, he made a good friend, that is, Tea Saint Lu Yu. Lu Yu was nearly twenty years older than Meng Jiao, almost a generation apart. But in Lu Yu's later years, Meng Jiao was his close friend. According to Mengjiao's poem "Title Lu Hong gradually went to Rao's new mountain house", Lu Yu invited Mengjiao to a small gathering in the mountain house when he lived in seclusion in Shangrao, Jiangxi province in his later years. After Lu Yu's death, MengJiao also went to Pinghang and wrote a poem "Sending Lu Chang back to Huzhou because of the inscription of the deceased People Kyauran Pagoda Lu Yu Tomb".

"Tea Classic" [Tang] written by Lu Yu, in the twenty-first year of the Ming Wanli Calendar (1593), Wang Shixian carved the "Mountain Residence Magazine" book, talking more about tea collection

Just as the so-called "close to Zhu is red and close to ink is black", we recall that being able to fall in love with tea drinking is mostly influenced by friends and relatives around us. Many people do not have the habit of drinking tea, that is not necessarily not to love tea, but the fate with tea has not arrived. Therefore, every tea practitioner will intentionally or unintentionally sow the seeds of tea love in the hearts of others. Whether MengJiao loves tea because of Lu Yu or intersects with Lu Yu because he loves tea, we don't know now. But what is certain is that Mengjiao's tea addiction is no smaller than Lu Yu's. If you don't believe it, read this poem "By virtue of the Zhou Situation Ancestors In the Dynasty To Beg for Tea".

The word "by" here can be interpreted as relying on and relying on. As for the zhou situation, it was Tang Yuanhe three years (808) Jinshi and di, and the other specific circumstances were not very clear. Of course, there is a doubt here. Zhou Zhongjin's time was later than Mengjiao's, so why call him "ancestor"?

Then reading the title, we found that Meng Jiao was asking this Mr. Zhou to beg for good tea from a certain Xianda in the middle of the dynasty. Since it is to ask people to do things, it is natural to be polite, and the word "ancestors" here may be a kind of courtesy. This is just like the older generation of scholars also call young people "brothers" or "brothers", which is a manifestation of self-cultivation, not the actual generation.

The Japanese Heian period scholar Shimada Tadao once wrote a poem "Begging Thirteen Picking Tea", which is humorous and humorous, but does not lose the feelings of tea people, which can be regarded as a fine work in the "beggar tea poem". Therefore, I suggest that the two poems can be read in contrast, which is interesting. Tadao Shimada's tea poem is begging for tea without getting tea; while Mengjiao's tea poem is a thank you after getting tea, and the two are still subtly different in the scene. This is where we should pay special attention when appreciating poetry.

"Don't be boring, don't be bored," describes the state.

"Don't" and "sick" are both negative words. "Boring" and "feelingless" are both bad moods. Absent-minded, plus upset, at this time the poet's state, obviously not too good, in the beijing vernacular to describe, is called "five ridges and six beasts". What is it that makes Meng Jiao so restless? The next two sentences give the answer.

"Meng Ming jade flowers exhausted, Yue Ou lotus leaf empty", depicting the dilemma.

"MengMing" is naturally good tea, and "Yue'ou" refers to tea utensils. But the poet draws our attention to the fact that tea is not ordinary tea, and the vessel is not an ordinary vessel. "Jade flower" is a beautifying term for Meng Ming. "Lotus leaf" is a poetic expression of Yue Ou. Use the word jade flower to highlight the preciousness of tea. Use the word lotus leaf to show the agility of the instrument.

Good tea with good utensils, why should Mengjiao be boring? It turned out that the good tea had been exhausted, leaving the tea vessel empty. These two sentences are similar to "see the fish in my chole and lose their eyes, smell the tea in the Garden of the King" can be described as the same thing, they are all begging for tea, they are not clear, and they all let you watch and do it yourself. It is estimated that no one can compare with a poet.

"Jinshui has bright colors, and Shushan Rao fang bushes. The cloud root has only cut green, and the seal seam has been red", pointing out the season.

When the spring river blooms, the ice and snow melt, and the jinshui naturally has a bright color. When the green willows came, everything recovered, and Shushan then had a fragrant bush. People living in the city today are pitiful, and the view is completely obscured by reinforced concrete and glass curtain walls, and it is impossible to see far. To know that short-sightedness is not a good word. But the poet looked far in the direction of the tea mountain, and saw that a green line was revealed in the distant skyline, neatly as if it had been cut. Spring phenology changes quickly, a little inattentive, and there is a touch of red on the green skyline. Comparing Yungen to a seam, with a cut green to reflect the red, this spring, was written alive by MengJiao.

It is already spring in the season, and it is natural to have a spring appearance in the diet. Chinese way of eating, honoring the teachings of the sages of Kong, and paying attention to not eating from time to time. But from time to time, it is not eaten, on the contrary, that is, at some time you must eat something. Take my hometown of Beijing, for example, the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter are distinct, and eating must also pay attention to the seasonal order. For example, in the spring, you must eat spring cakes to meet the scene, and there is a name called "biting spring".

Spring cakes are eaten with pancakes. This kind of cake is very exquisite, requiring a pound of noodles to be baked out of eight or sixteen. The so-called one-in-one is two pages. When baking a cake, the middle of the two pages of cake should be coated with a small ground sesame oil, so that the cake is fragrant and easy to tear in two. Many people think that the cake of spring cake is the same as the cake of roast duck, which is a misunderstanding.

Don't look at the cake so exquisite, but in fact, the focus of eating spring cake is the dish. After the cake is burned, it is necessary to fry a hat, that is, to fry mung bean sprouts, spinach, vermicelli, shredded meat, leeks together, and then spread an egg cake to cover the dish. Here mung bean sprouts, spinach, leeks and other things are all seasonal vegetables in spring, and rolling them up to eat is naturally biting spring.

Of course, spring tea naturally represents the breath of spring. Every spring, many people who usually do not drink tea will also buy two or two spring teas, brew a cup, smell the fragrant leaves, and then take a sip and swallow slowly, as if they are related to spring. As for tea lovers, it is natural to be eager to enjoy a few spring teas to live up to the best season of the year.

Meng Jiao looked up and saw the good spring light outside, looked down to see that Ou was empty, touching the scenery, and naturally his mood was low. The more beautiful the spring scene is written, the more it reflects the poet's embarrassment. All this is paved with words of thanks later.

The last four sentences are about tea treasures.

"Once from the nobles, the most will be the same as the poem", it is said that this tea is from an extraordinary origin, and the people who can get him can be described as either rich or expensive. As mentioned above, Mengjiao was very unhappy in the official field, and it was reasonable to say that he could not get such a good tea, but fortunately, this "Zhou Situation Ancestor" took the initiative to help get some from the hands of the Zhongzhong Xianda and sent it to Mengjiao for tasting, which solved the urgent need.

Yao He, a poet who was slightly later than Mengjiao, also wrote a poem "Begging for New Tea", which reads as follows:

Tender green yellowish green spring, smell the meat when picking.

Do not buy money to beg for poetry, borrow a few people from the mountain.

The same is begging for tea, but the writing is not as good as Mengjiao, Yao He's words between the lines, only see the poems of the battle, but can not read the sincere tea addiction. When Mengjiao had no tea to drink, at first it was still the low of "Don't be boring", and then it turned into a mania of "mood disease without pity", and when he finally had to drink tea, the joy and relief overflowed into words.

People who do not love tea cannot experience the pain of not drinking tea. People who do not love tea cannot understand the happiness of drinking good tea. Therefore, for tea, people only love and do not love, do not understand and do not understand. No matter how proficient you are in tea science, but you don't have the emotion of loving tea, you can't understand tea.

Tea brings warmth to mengjiao, who has been suffering all his life

At the end, I would like to say a few words about the literary circles' views on Mengjiao.

The Song and Yuan people seem to particularly hate Mengjiao's poems, thinking that they are "cold", "poor" or even "haggard and withered". Su Shi especially despised Meng Jiao and used a "cold" word to belittle him. Not only that, Su Shi also wrote two special poems "Reading Mengjiao Poems", comparing Mengjiao poems to small fish and crabs without much meat, saying that reading was in vain; and comparing Mengjiao to "cold trumpet worms", saying that there was no need to read his poems at all. The Jin Dynasty writer Yuan Haoqing simply compared him to a "poet prisoner" to satirize MengJiao as a prisoner of hard labor curled up in a shackle.

Although such an evaluation is extreme, it is not empty. After all, MengJiao's life was too unsmooth, and his depressed mood, bumpy career, and depressed life all directly affected his poetic style. As Professor Ge Zhaoguang pointed out, Meng Jiao used to "use some bone-piercing verbs, cold and hard nouns and frightening sounds to form a group of sinister and thin sentences, conveying the unspeakable resentment and sorrow in his heart, making people feel uncomfortable reading as if they heard iron scraping porcelain bowls." I once tried to scratch the bottom of the bowl twice with a nail, and the sound was really indescribable, and I didn't want to hear it a second time anyway. No wonder, so many people don't like Mengjiao.

But the strange thing is that in this song "By virtue of the Zhou Situation Ancestors in the Chaoxian Begging Tea", what we see seems to be another Mengjiao. Here in mengjiao, the world seems to be warm colors, rather than cold black and white. The tea in his eyes is a jade flower, the vessel is a lotus leaf, and as for the world, it is full of flowers and willows and green. Reading this poem alone, who can say that Meng Jiao is a "poetry prisoner" who is buzzing?

All of this is the power of tea.

I am afraid that life in Mengjiao is indeed not satisfactory, so why should we in the workplace have everything go smoothly? As a result, many modern people have some mental illness to a greater or lesser extent. Do you get upset too? Taking medicine may not be useful, seeing a psychologist will only be more annoying, the best solution is to drink tea seriously.

Drink any tea you want, as long as you can sit down. Don't listen to the intimidation of tea people who behave like artists, always feel that tea is far away from their lives. For tea, love is the key, and it is not too difficult to understand. It is okay to use a purple sand pot, and it is also good to use a side handle pot, there is no prescribed posture, and it is most important for you to feel comfortable. Do you feel relieved to say this?

Drinking tea is to be assured. The so-called reassurance is to let go of the hanging heart.

When you are really involved in the tea business, you will discover the advantages of the things around you. The tea is actually quite fragrant, the utensils are actually quite beautiful, and the scenery outside the window is not bad. As for the heart, it also seems that like the poet Meng Jiao, he swept away the state of "don't be bored with taoism, and the mood is not troubled", and slowly returned to peace.

Calm, is the gift of tea soup to us. Please cherish it.
