The National Training Base of China Sports Management Center for the Disabled (formerly the China Paralympic Sports Management Center) is the world's largest comprehensive sports training base for the disabled. Also holding the torchbearers are Lu Dong, who won gold medals at the 2012 London Paralympic Games and four gold medals at the Tokyo Paralympic Games in the paralympic swimming event; Bian Jing, a disabled wheelchair fencer who won the women's Sabre A individual championship, the women's epee A individual third place, and the women's epee team championship at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games; and the disabled weightlifter Tan Yujiao.

It is understood that the upper limb disabled torchbearer congenitally missing right forearm, the use of upper limb to assist the exoskeleton equipment after 9 months of adaptation training, can achieve the autonomous grasp function, will hold the torch for transmission; another lower limb paraplegic torchbearer, the use of lower limbs to help the exoskeleton equipment after 5 months of adaptation training, can achieve upright walking to pass the torch.

The headquarters of the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee is located at the northern end of Shougang Park.
