Daiyu's soft beauty satisfies Baoyu's desire to protect.
On the twenty-ninth occasion, there is a sentence describing Baoyu's love for Daiyu: "None of the bridesmaids who have seen those who are close to the family of distant friends have a little bit of Daiyu." ”
Baoyu is favored by Jia Mu and often carries it with her, coupled with Jia Mu's special status, which allows Bao Yu to see a lot of everyone's boudoir. But seeing and going, comparing it, I found that it was not as good as Daiyu.
This sentence is easy for the reader to understand that Dai Yu is too good, but if you want to combine the premise of this sentence, it is completely different.
There is also a sentence in front of this sentence: "That Baoyu has had a kind of indecent dementia since childhood, and his mood has been relative to that of Dai Yu since he was a child; and now he is a little bit aware of current affairs, and he has read those evil books and legends." ”
There are three messages in this sentence:
First, "there is a kind of indecent dementia born from childhood", which means that Baoyu is born with a special aesthetic, which can be understood in combination with the love of "fat ring powder" when grasping Zhou. This is not the aesthetic that a normal boy should have;
Second, "from childhood and Daiyu's ears grinding, the mood is relative", Baoyu and Daiyu have been close to each other since childhood, and understand each other;
Third, "Now A little bit of current affairs, and then read those evil books and secluded rumors", "a little bit of current affairs" refers to the beginning of understanding of men and women's affairs, such as "testing the clouds and rain" with attacking people. The focus is on "reading those evil books and secluded biographies again", that is, "ancient and modern novels and the biographies of Feiyan, Hede, Wu Zetian, and Yang Guifei and the legendary horn book" bought for Baoyu by Xiao Mingyan.
From these three pieces of information, it is not difficult to conclude that in Baoyu's eyes, "none of them have a slightly inferior daiyu", which refers to the fact that those big girls are not as good as Daiyu in terms of being willing to "mess" with Baoyu at any distance.
That is to say, Dai Yu just happens to grow up in Bao Yu's aesthetic, which is in line with his "obscene dementia", and is willing to cooperate with him in behavior, "the ears are grinding, and the mood is relative". In adolescence, under the influence of those "evil books and secluded rumors", Baoyu "had already saved a period of heart, but it was not easy to say it", which had a later confession and sending pa.
So, what is the aesthetic of Baoyu? It is the soft beauty of Daiyu that satisfies Baoyu's desire to protect.
The fifth time, when Bao Yu was traveling to the illusory realm, the police fairy goddess said to him: "I can't bear to be alone to add glory to my boudoir, and to see it abandoned in the world." ”
What light can Baoyu add to the boudoir? It is to use the resources he has to protect the girls he thinks are excellent.
The police fantasy believes that Baoyu should expand his desire to protect the girl to the whole world. In that era, girls were weak, and it was right to want to protect the weak, which was also the realm that the strong should have. However, girls are weak, not only girls who enter Jia Province are weak, there are weaker girls in the world who need to be protected. In addition to girls, there are also more people living at the bottom who are weak, and they need protection more.
If Baoyu really wants to protect the weak, he should increase his intellect and skills as his ancestors expected, "pay attention to The Confucius and Mengmen, commit to the way of the economy", and protect the weak in a way that governs the country and the world.
However, Baoyu is very resistant to this, indicating that he does not really want to protect the weak, but only wants to satisfy his desire to protect the weak and appreciate the soft and beautiful.
That is to say, if it is only weak and there is no beauty, Baoyu will not want to protect. He wanted beauty, and it would be better if he could add a "weak" adjective before beauty.
If you have a soft beauty and enjoy his protection, it is perfect.
Dai Yu just met this point of his.

In Baoyu's eyes, this is a kind of beauty, so the first reaction is to set up almost, and use the way to give Dai Yu a word to show off learning.
Later, in the relationship, because of Jia Mu's arrangement, Let Dai Yu "sleep and eat, just like Bao Yu", and Bao Yu and Dai Yu "sit together on the day, and rest together at night". Dai Yu, as a defector, enjoyed the same special treatment as Bao Yu, and enjoyed it as much as Bao Yu, which was very compatible with Bao Yu in the three views.

Although Dai Yu is intelligent and talented, she has a fatal problem: severe insecurity.
Entering Jia Mansion alone at the age of six was a very terrifying thing for Daiyu. Although she behaved politely in words and deeds, she was panicked inside.
This panic comes from two aspects: first, the inferiority of entering a large family from a small family, "these third-class servant women I have seen in recent days are already extraordinary, let alone now in their homes"; second, in a strange environment, full of strangers, young children will naturally be afraid.
Therefore, on the first day of entering the house, she was scared to cry by Baoyu's behavior of throwing jade, but she did not dare to cry in front of people, and she hid in her room until the night.
But smart, she quickly found someone to rely on in this strange environment.
I used to be very confused, Dai Yu once heard about Bao Yu from her mother, and her mother's evaluation of Bao Yu was "stubborn and abnormal, extremely bad at reading, and most like to mess around in the inner world; my grandmother is extremely doting, and no one dares to take care of it."
This is certainly not a positive review.
Usually, children will trust their mother's words the most. However, soon after entering Jia Province, Dai Yu not only completely forgot her mother's words, but also had a close relationship with Bao Yu to the extent of "words and intentions, slightly without participating in business".
Was she completely convinced that her mother was wrong?
No, she was smart, just trying to find a shelter for herself.
Baoyu's act of wrestling jade verifies what her mother said about "grandmother being extremely doting": "You are angry, and it is easy to beat and scold people." "If you are angry, you can hit people casually, and only the most doting people will say this to children, right?"
In addition, just because Bao Yu said, "I am in bed outside the Bisha cupboard, It is very appropriate", Jia Mu relied on him, and also verified that her mother said that "I like to mess around in the inner world".
So, my mother's words were actually right. It was precisely because of this that Dai Yu understood that if she wanted to live well in this big family, she only needed to grab Bao Yu.
That is to say, as long as you can live in the aura of baoyu, you can ensure safety.
If you catch Baoyu, you can get the protection of Baoyu, and if you get the protection of Baoyu, you can get the favor of Jia Mu, and she can gain a foothold in Jia Province.
In order to get the protection of Baoyu for a long time, two conditions must be met: one is to remain soft and beautiful, and the other is to cater to Baoyu's preferences and not to say.
To remain soft and beautiful is to remain sick, so Dai Yu is not active in curing diseases, but others are more attentive than her.
Dai Yu was quite accurate with Bao Yu, and while she was arguing with Bao Yu, she also used crying to provoke Bao Yu to coax her. Crying will induce illness, and crying and illness add up, which makes Baoyu pity and love.
The twenty-seventh burial flower reflects Daiyu's fear of losing Baoyu's protection, and she directly thinks of death.
Only because Qingwen falsely preached the Holy Will, coupled with hearing Baoyu and Baochao's laughter, Dai Yu thought that Bao Yu no longer liked her. For Daiyu, this was a collapse of heaven, because the only protector had been lost. At that time, she thought of "now that her parents are dead and there is no one to rely on, now his family is dependent." Isn't it ironic to associate this sentence with "Jia Mu loves like a mother, sleeps and eats, and lives like a precious jade"?
With "Jia Mu's love", how can it be helpless? Isn't Jammu dependent?
This just shows that Jia Mu's dependence is based on Bao Yu's dependence: only with Bao Yu's love can jia mu's love. Baoyu's love was gone, and Daiyu was helpless in Jia Province.
Of course, this is only Daiyu's cognition, it is all her own thoughts. It was precisely because of this thought that she, under the fear and grief, chanted the sentence "He buried Nong knows who it is". She magnified this fear infinitely, not only thinking that there was no one to rely on living, but also that there was no one to collect the body when she died.
This shows that the insecurity that Dai Yu has had since entering the house has not only not decreased, but has increased.
In the midst of it, with Daiyu's cleverness, she can see more clearly: Jia Mu has absolute authority, and Bao Yu's preferences directly affect Jia Mu's preferences. Therefore, what Baoyu likes will be valued by Jia Mu. On the contrary, what Bao Yu hates will be ignored or even rejected by Jia Mu.
If bao Yu's protection is lost, Dai Yu's situation may be worse than Jia Huan's. Jia Huan and his mother went out for him, who would stand up for Daiyu? Isn't that "the wind knife and frost sword are strictly forced"?
This was Daiyu's fear, and it was also the reason why she clung to Baoyu.
One needs soft beauty to satisfy the desire for protection, and the other needs to use soft beauty to win protection, which is the love that Baoyu and Daiyu each need.
Such love is destined to hurt each other. Because in order to satisfy Baoyu's preference for soft beauty, Dai Yu had to keep herself weak. At the same time, because Baoyu's protective role ultimately depends on Jia Mu to achieve, he himself does not have the ability to shelter, and his aura is given to him by Jia Mu, thus dooming the protection that Dai Yu needs to be short-lived.
Once the shelter is lost, Daiyu's illness is also delayed, and even if there is a good treatment, she will not be able to return to heaven. And Baoyu, accompanied by Daiyu's not saying words, wasted a lot of youth and ended up with a no skill, half a life.
