The new season of the domestic league or will not invite "foreign whistles", "earth whistles" law enforcement will face pressure throughout the season

The new season of the domestic league or will not invite "foreign whistles", "earth whistles" law enforcement will face pressure throughout the season

In order to improve the ability of local male and female referees to use VAR (Video Assistant Referee) technology, the Chinese Football Association specially organized 199 male and female referees and referees to participate in two "Video Assistant Referee Training" courses held on February 26 and March 5 respectively. It is worth noting that the current 2022 male international referee camp (7 international referees, 9 international assistant referees) all participated in this training, of which the international referee Fu Ming also served as the lecturer of the second training class. As the protagonists of the law enforcement work of domestic professional leagues at all levels in the new season, the male referees participating in the training will go deep into the law enforcement stage of the Chinese Super League, China First Division, Chinese Second Division and FA Cup in the new season. Although Ma Ning, Fu Ming, Cao Yi, Shi Xiang and others are expected to participate in the remaining events in the Asian region of the Qatar World Preliminary Tournament, and even the World Cup main event, due to objective factors such as the epidemic, the Chinese Football Association and the China Football Federation Preparatory Group will most likely still assign local referees to enforce the law throughout the season this year.

The Beijing Youth Daily reporter saw on the "training notice" issued by the Chinese Football Association that the 199 people who participated in the "Video Assistant Referee Training" course included referees and referees supervising the law enforcement of the male and female sequence club events in the new season. Several international referees who had gone abroad for a long time last year to participate in the World Preliminary Round of 40, the Round of 12, the AFC Champions League and the Tokyo Olympic Football Tournament participated in the training together with other registered international referees of the association.

Up to now, Ma Ning, Fu Ming, Shen Yinhao, Zhang Lei, Cao Yi, Shi Xiang, several international referees (including international assistant referees) who participated in the enforcement of major international events such as the Round of 12 last year have not received specific notices from the AFC about the last two rounds of the group stage of the top 12. However, it is understood that the refereeing department of the AFC has always maintained communication with the Chinese Football Association. After entering the New Year, the AFC Referee Office also asked the Chinese Football Association whether it could arrange for the Chinese Football Association's registered international referees to continue to participate in the law enforcement work of the World Preliminary Tournament in Asia, and received a positive answer. This means that even if the above-mentioned referees do not have the opportunity to enforce the 9th and 10th rounds of the Round of 12, they may participate in the enforcement of the next playoffs.

Before that, Ma Ning and Fu Ming had also participated in a series of business exchange activities organized by FIFA and directly related to the selection and dispatch of referees for the Qatar World Cup. In other words, the Chinese Football Association's registered international-level referees are still expected to participate in the enforcement of the final stage of the Qatar World Cup.

Of course, including Tang Shunqi, a young referee who has newly entered the camp of international referees, the vast majority of the Chinese Football Association's registered international referees mainly have to accept further investigation from the AFC and the Chinese Football Association this year. Affected by the epidemic, their work focuses mainly on the enforcement of domestic competitions. Therefore, the Chinese Football Association will also arrange a series of theoretical and practical training courses on refereeing work in the near future to warm up the law enforcement work of referees in the new season.

Judging from the current situation reflected by various channels, the Preparatory Group of the Chinese Football Association and the China Football Federation will continue last year's method this year, arrange local referees to participate in the law enforcement work of various domestic competitions throughout the season, and most likely will not hire foreign referees. In the context of the Chinese team's collapse of the Qatar World Preliminary Round of 12 and the crisis in domestic professional football, it is not difficult to imagine the pressure that local referees have endured in the process of work this year. The "VAR Technical Training" organized by the Chinese Football Association is actually aimed at reducing the error rate of penalty work as much as possible.
