The title of Han Pengxiang's report of the Sanmenxia Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology is "2021 Report on the Archaeological Work of yuchi Homestead Site in Shichi". In order to cooperate with the Yuchi Home Renovation Project, the Sanmenxia Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology began rescue archaeological excavations of 52 tombs of different periods within the scope of the project in May 2021. Judging from the tomb shape system and the combination of excavated artifacts, there are 45 tombs of the Han Dynasty, 3 tombs of the Ming and Qing dynasties, 3 tombs of modern and modern times, and 1 tomb of unknown age. Among them, 45 Han Dynasty tombs are the focus of this excavation, mainly the tudong tombs of the shaft tombs, and a small number of bricks are used in the earthen caves to form burial chambers. Brick tombs can be divided into two types: hollow brick tombs and small brick tombs. Most of the tombs have a two-story platform with wooden planks at the bottom of the tomb, and a groove was dug on each side of the tomb door, and traces of wooden planks were also found, and the entire cemetery passage may be used as an enclosed space. Han tombs mostly use grass and wood ash as burial tools, a small number of wooden coffins, on which are placed human bones, the number of tomb owners is mostly 1 person, and there are also many people buried together. The Han tombs found in this area, some of which are in the same direction, have the same shape and system, and are similar in age, which may be family tombs. These Han tombs have not been disturbed, are well preserved, and have a clear composition of utensils. These provide us with new materials for us to explore the development and evolution of Han tombs in the eastern part of Sanmenxia.
