After thinking about it, I still plan to change an MPV, within the budget range, I am more optimistic about Trumpchi M6, so I went to the 4S shop to test drive, and also compared the price, but I always felt almost meaningless, and I have not made up my mind. Later, under the introduction of friends, I test-drove the Wuling Capgemini 280T that had just been listed for a few days, and after a simple comparison, I also found a 4-point gap between the two, and everyone helped to see if what I said was right.

From the price point of view, if you do not count the manual transmission, the guidance price of the Trumpchi M6 is 11.98-15.98 million, and the guidance price of the Wuling Capgemini 280T is 11.58-125,800 yuan. But Trumpchi's sales tell me that the M6 currently has a discount of 8,000 yuan, so its threshold price is lower than the Capgemini 280T, but the Capgemini 280T top price is cheaper and also in line with my car purchase budget. Of course, when just considering the Trumpchi M6 low-to-mid-range model, their price difference is actually not large, and what really makes me feel the difference is the product performance of the two cars.
The first gap is in their spatial layout, the Trumpchi M6 is a "2+2+3" seven-seat layout, while the Capgemini 280T is a "2+2+2" six-seat layout. Honestly, I personally think it's okay to choose six or seven, because the second row of both of them is a separate seat, and they can meet my family's travel needs. But the difference is that the second row of seats of the Capgemini 280T slides left and right and is equipped with leg rests, which trumpchi M6 does not have. From my actual experience, the second row of seat backrests of the Capgemini 280T has a larger adjustment angle and can even lie flat, which I feel is slightly better than the Trumpchi M6.
In the third row of seats, both the Trumpchi M6 and Capgemini 280T can be "stowed" under the floor through a series of operations, thereby enhancing the trunk space. But there is a small detail that the third row of the Trumpchi M6 can only be stored as a whole, while the Capgemini 280T can be stored separately, that is, in addition to 4 seats, the Capgemini 280T can also be turned into a 5-seater car.
The second gap is reflected in the power of the two, although the Trumpchi M6 and Capgemini 280T are both 1.5T engines, but it can be clearly felt that the latter is more explosive, especially when starting and overtaking, the power is stepped on. Of course, this is not to say that trumpchi M6 is not good, its power is also sufficient, and the lifting gear is relatively fast. Later, it was understood that the Trumpchi M6 has a maximum horsepower of 169Ps and a peak torque of 265N·m, equipped with a dual-clutch transmission, while the Capgemini 280T has a maximum horsepower of 177Ps and a peak torque of 290N·m, equipped with CVT.
The third gap is reflected in the chassis performance of the two of them, I have long heard that the chassis of GAC Trumpchi performs better, and three test drives of Trumpchi M6 also give me a further understanding of it. Its chassis is very stable, the body posture is more normal when cornering quickly, and there will be no excessive shaking when driving through potholes, which I feel trumpchi M6 is slightly better than the Capgemini 280T.
The last thing that makes me feel the difference is the central control screen of the two of them, Trumpchi M6 has 8-inch, 10.25-inch, 12.3-inch three-inch options to choose from, while Capgemini 280T only has a 10.25-inch solution. To be fair, I don't have much demand for screen size, as long as it works. Among them, I am more satisfied with the 12.3-inch large screen of Trumpchi M6 and the 10.25-inch large screen of Capgemini 280T, both of which have the Internet of Vehicles and OTA upgrade functions, and can play songs and navigate online. Unfortunately, the Trumpchi M6 is only equipped with top-of-the-line models, while the Capgemini 280T is equipped with the Ling OS Lingxi system with connected car as standard.
Summary: In fact, for me personally, I am satisfied with the space of the Trumpchi M6 and Capgemini 280T, and the overall performance of both cars is also good. However, after the actual experience, it was found that the chassis performance of the Trumpchi M6 was better, the power of the Capgemini 280T was better, and the intelligent network part was more fun. Combined with the price point of view, I am currently more inclined to Capgemini 280T, because its price is relatively cheap, but I am still more entangled, after all, Capgemini 280T is listed, if the price is reduced again in the later stage, is it not a loss to buy?
