The Jimu News reporter learned that this incident occurred in the East China Branch of Lanshan Rural Commercial Bank in Linyi, Shandong, and the doctors at the scene were from the Lanshan District Maternal and Child Health Hospital. According to the hospital staff, at about 11:00 a.m. on February 21, the hospital emergency station received a request for help from the bank staff, saying that a pregnant woman in the bank was going to give birth, and then sent doctors and emergency personnel to the scene.
On the evening of February 21, the reporter contacted Ni Weiyu, the doctor in charge of delivery, and Zhang Hui, a midwife. Dr. Ni said that she found that the fetal heart was normal and the head had been exposed, and after asking the pregnant woman, she decided to arrange for the delivery in situ. During the process, bank staff and enthusiastic people helped, turned on the heating of all the air conditioners in the hall, and purchased newborn supplies. Dr. Ni said that the pregnant woman gave birth to a second child, and the delivery process was relatively smooth, taking about 5 minutes. For this experience, she and Zhang Hui both said that it was just their own work.
At about 11:30 a.m. on the same day, the ambulance took the mother and newborn to the Lanshan District Maternal and Child Health Hospital. The obstetric director and medical staff are waiting for the reception, and when the mother is not accompanied by her family, the hospital opens a green channel to send her to the isolation delivery room, giving the mother and daughter further treatment and care.
