When Tesla first released the new Model S and Model X, the all-new 17-inch center display was listed as capable of tilting left and right, but just a few months later, just before the first deliveries of vehicles began, Tesla quietly removed the feature from the site.
Tesla didn't provide any official explanation for this, but we speculate that they may have encountered supply chain problems that forced them to abandon the plan.
Reflecting on a foreign owner, he said he was developing a kit to restore that functionality to Model S and Model X vehicles, and according to Casey, his kit could even use the car's seat sensor to automatically tilt: "Eventually it will be exactly the same as what Tesla (theoretically) implements, including automatic directional selection based on power based on seat occupancy." ”
In support of his claims, Casey shared several prototype images that also give us a best idea of how the screen tilts left and right, and to what extent.
However, Casey has not yet provided a timeline for releasing the kit, but if the price is right, I believe there should be many Tesla users who will be interested.
