Cultural relics donated in the new exhibition of Shangbo: presenting Wang Anshi's calligraphy and Shen Zhou's paintings

The 70-year history of the Shanghai Museum is inseparable from the righteous deeds and love of countless donors. By the end of 2021, the Shanghai Museum has a collection of more than 1.02 million cultural relics and more than 140,000 precious cultural relics. Among the cultural relics in the collection, more than 88,000 are donated by people from all walks of life, including more than 33,000 precious cultural relics and more than 55,000 general cultural relics, accounting for about 8.6% of the total collection of cultural relics and 23.6% of the total collection of precious cultural relics, including individuals and collectives.

The Paper has learned that from March 10 to September 4, 2022, the Shanghai Museum will hold the "ShengShi Fanghua - Exhibition of Cultural Relics Donated by the Shanghai Museum". The exhibition is another large-scale exhibition of donated cultural relics after last year's "Prosperous Thousand Autumns" and "Gaoshan Mountain Tour" held by Shangbo, and it is also a wonderful chapter in the 70th anniversary celebration of the Shanghai Museum this year.

The 70-year history of the Shanghai Museum is inseparable from the righteous deeds and love of countless donors, and several generations of Shangbo people have insisted on sharing the treasures donated by the world in the form of exhibitions, and to commend and commemorate the donors. In addition to the permanent exhibition, the temporary exhibition on the donated cultural relics, together with the "Prosperous Fanghua", has reached 33.

The donation and donation exhibition is sincerely for the vivid display of the concept of "People's City People's Construction" in the museum. We have set this as one of the important themes of the 70th anniversary celebration of Shangbo, and used this exhibition to welcome the victory of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China!
