It's an old car, and this year it's 19 years old.
It didn't really have anything to do with me, and if I had to make some connection, it was when he was 15 years old that I became a fan of its passers-by.
I have squatted on the side of the road, stood on the mountainside, and mixed with many melon-eating masses, worried about it, cheered for it, and celebrated it loudly.
I have been touched by it.
It and its companions, to try the impossible climb, when the crossing is completed.
Maybe you've heard its story and been touched.
Now allow me to substitute for a car to tell the story of this old car.

I am a Tule Y61, born in 2003
That was the second year that Tule entered China as an imported car
That's why I came to China
In my generation, the opponents of the same period have long since compromised with the market

He is still a tough guy in appearance and bones
Of course, the inner interior has also become more comfortable and luxurious with the times

The story of my early years was very bland
So much so that I don't really remember very well

My first master, it is estimated that he is either rich or expensive
After all, the housing prices in many places in Beijing were less than 10,000
And to take me away, it takes half or six hundred thousand
In addition to hardcore off-road, I also had the status of a luxury car
I was chosen because I liked me
But for him I'm just a means of transportation for the hardcores
So I drive all year round on the flat asphalt roads of big cities
I was bright and stable in those years
But occasionally, my heart was tingling
Maybe I'm afraid that I won't be able to leave the road and go wild in my life

But within a few years, the first owner sold me
At that time, China's auto market ushered in a period of rapid development
He soon had more and more luxurious options
After that, I met two more masters
They should all be people who have loved me
So, I also experienced the life of leaving the city in a car
Go for a ride in the countryside and travel far away
I've seen heavy snow in the north and torrential rain in the south
The wind that blew through National Highway 318, ate the sand of the desert in northern Xinjiang...
My body stretches out as a result of this release
My heart was revived by the call
But it always feels like something is missing

Until, when I was 10 years old
At this age, for cars
In fact, it already means entering the second half of the car students
But I am finally about to usher in my own highlight period
I met the new owner
This is a young man living in Guangdong
He loves modding, crossing, and off-road rock climbing
He regarded me as a brother, loved me, and loved to take me to be "abused" together.
Follow his first few years
I'm either on off-road or on my way to off-road
Oh, and there's the road to repairs and modifications
In his hands, I was born again
He did me many dressups
I also installed many large pieces, such as front and rear bars and winchs
I even did a few chassis lifts that made me grow taller
In Guangdong, I accompanied my master countless times
Go down the river beach, climb the rocks, and walk through the wild forest
I have rescued others, and I have been rescued by others
In the distance, I accompanied my master through the wilderness of no man's land

But in Guangdong, rock climbing, that's a common off-road game
And these years of following this master

There are so many so-called difficult places, I can go up backwards...
So much so that later the owner lost interest in rock climbing
But at the same time, the owner seemed to be losing interest in me
I actually know that the owner already has a new partner
That's a real wrangler for rock climbing
And I, because of the policy
This is the prime of life, but it faces the risk of entering the scrap site at any time
On the city road, it is still the focus of inspection stopped by the traffic police

But reality eventually gave birth to the idea of being separated from me
Until, seven kilometers topped the top off-road climbing trails
Again and again, it appeared in the owner's field of vision

Of course, I was pulled back to Dongguan for restoration
Seven kilometers, leaving me with the most embarrassed look
But it also gave me the highest glory of my life

A year later, after a complete upgrade, I reappeared at Hooke
This time, I want to challenge the newly developed route "Enlightenment" last year.
Last August, moab chairman of the Redstone Four-Wheel Drive Club
Michael, who has been rock climbing for over 50 years, visited Hook Way
After the experience, the new route "Enlightenment" was played super-outlined
Metamorphosis rating 15 (originally capped at 10)
Given the first time I went
The host was somewhat contemptuous of the seven kilometers
This caused some unnecessary and tragic damage to my partners and me
This time, he wanted to take me to try the hardest route again
That crossing
It attracted more than 100 melon-eating masses from all over the country

Because the hosts are in awe enough
So this crossing went better than the last time
But because "enlightenment" is really difficult to pervert
So this crossing is still a bit tragic
The crossing begins at 9:00 a.m
By the time it was close to the exit, it was early in the morning
Due to the hunger and cold of the people, the car was damaged to the same extent and could not move forward
After discussion, people decided to come back in the morning to repair and complete the crossing
So it wasn't until the next morning that I officially drove out of the Path of Enlightenment

The moment we drove out, everyone was excited
A bunch of rough masters cheered and congratulated each other

Maybe it's unity, trust, mutual help...

The spirit of breaking through oneself and chasing more possible
However, no matter how wonderful the play, it will also end

I knew that I was about to be separated from him
But it doesn't matter, he gave it to me

There are two times in a lifetime when you can cross so smoothly to the point of madness

The story of this car, modeled after the island owner's Tule Y61, incorporates some of the experiences of its brothers.
In May 2018, Guangdong Tule "smashed" Hook Road, which was the first time that a mass production car other than the Wrangler had driven seven kilometers. Three days and three nights, at the cost of scrapping one car and the other four cars with different degrees of serious damage, it was successfully completed with a slightly tragic success.
In June 2019, Guangdong Tule once again appeared on Hook Road, challenging the "Enlightenment" route, which was rated as level 15 "perverted difficulty". The three Tule set off, fought for 15 hours, staged many thrilling moments, the vehicles were damaged to varying degrees, and finally the two cars successfully completed the crossing again and slightly tragically.
Before that, perhaps no one believed, and no one dared to think that Tule (and an old 80) could also carry out such extreme rock climbing, but it also caused a lot of hot discussions, admiration, doubts, ridicule...
A rider wrote this comment: "For an old car that is in its prime but has to enter the scrap yard because of the policy, it can be crossed once so freely, and it is not worth it." ”
This comment struck me so much that I still think about it a few years later.
The vehicle itself is a machine, but when its owner gives him a mission, it has the opportunity to create a legend.
I can't know the current status of this Y61, but whatever the situation, it has left its own legend in the off-road jianghu.
On why he sold it, the island owner said:
As a loyal fan of Tourle, I played the Y61 to the ceiling during the period when I owned it, and I have no regrets.
The era that belonged to it was over for me.
Its legend or splendor, just freeze there.
