On February 16, Mercedes-Benz officially released the official map of the AMG EQE model. Two models, the AMG EQE 53 4MATIC+ and the AMG EQE 43 4MATIC, were born on the EVA electric platform. The AMG EQE is also the second high-performance all-electric model to be launched after the AMG EQS.
In terms of appearance, the overall design of the front face of the AMG EQE with smooth lines is very similar to that of the ordinary version, but the AMG version of the model adopts a straight waterfall closed front grille, which is more recognizable. The LED headlights are sharp and shiny, and the front bracket also uses a design that is different from the regular version of the model, which looks more sporty.
With sleek lines on the side of the body, the concealed door handles are designed under the waistline, along with large AMG-exclusive rims and yellow AMG calipers. Combined with the forward diving body line, it presents a strong sense of movement. The rear of the car is equipped with a small spoiler and a through-type tail light set, which makes the entire rear of the car more layered and more imposing.
In terms of interior, the new car as a whole continues the design of the fuel version of the model, but replaces the exclusive steering wheel of AMG, while the super large joint screen on the center console is retained, which is full of technology. Secondly, the cabin is equipped with carbon fiber trim panels and a large number of Alcantara materials, which shows the sense of sportiness that should be. The MBUX system has a specific function of the AMG option, which provides AMG simulated exhaust sound waves, which can produce different sounds depending on the change of driving mode.
Powered, the AMG EQE 43 4MATIC is equipped with dual motors front and rear, with a maximum power combination of 350 kW (476 hp), a maximum torque of 858 Nm, and an acceleration time of 0-100 km/h of 4.2 seconds. The AMG EQE 53 4MATIC+ has a maximum power of 460 kW (626 hp), a maximum torque of 950 Nm and an acceleration time of only 3.5 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h. And the AMG EQE 53 model also has the optional Dynamic Plus package, which allows the vehicle to increase the maximum power to 505kW (687 horsepower) in a certain period of time, the peak torque to 1001Nm, and the acceleration time from 0-100km/h to 3.3 seconds.
In terms of battery life, the new car uses a 90.6kWh battery pack, equipped with a 170kW fast charge, which can be fully charged in 15 minutes with a cruising range of about 180km. Its cruising range under WLTP conditions is between 442 and 515 km, which is slightly lower than the 656 km of the normal version.
