Thailand network reported that a few days ago, Dr. Yong, a clinical virology expert at Chulalongkorn University School of Medicine in Thailand, posted through his personal Facebook account that Thailand's new crown vaccination is voluntary application, and the new crown vaccination work for children aged 5-11 years is currently underway. A survey of 3,588 parents of children aged 5-11 on the theme of "COVID-19 Vaccination Willingness" from February 11 to 13 showed that 75.3% of parents were willing to let their children be vaccinated against COVID-19, and 24.7% of parents expressed their reluctance to vaccinate their children.

As for the parents who are willing to vaccinate, most of them choose to get the Pfizer vaccine (59.2%), followed by Sinopharm (30.7%), Kexing (5.6%), and 4.6% of parents who agree to mix their children's vaccination. From the above survey data, it can be seen that 3/4 of parents in Thailand are willing to vaccinate their children against COVID-19, and the vaccine brands they choose are also more diverse. As for parents who are reluctant to vaccinate their children, it is because they are worried about the side effects of their children after vaccination and the long-term effects after vaccination.
