Recently, we obtained the declaration chart of the new Geely ICON from the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the new car still continues the overall design of the current model, only adjusted in the details, and replaced with a 1.5T four-cylinder engine.
In terms of appearance, the front face part of the new car is mainly adjusted for the intake grille and the lower bumper, of which the middle grid grid is adjusted from the previously flattened zigzag design to a more three-dimensional rectangular style, while the lower bumper becomes a penetrating hollow design, and adds a very conspicuous bright color decoration, which enhances a lot of vitality.
There is no particularly obvious adjustment on the side of the body, maintaining a tough body while combining a unique rim shape for greater recognition.
The rear part of the car was mainly focused on the rear bar position, and the styling similar to the front bar was replaced, and a striking orange decoration was added. In terms of body size, the length, width and height are 4350/1815/1620mm, and the wheelbase is 2640mm, which is basically the same as the current model.
In terms of powertrain, the new car is equipped with a 1.5T four-cylinder engine, which can produce a maximum power of 133 kilowatts, an increase of 3 kilowatts compared with the current 1.5T three-cylinder engine, and the transmission system is expected to continue to be equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
