Wang Shuangwu, a member of the Hunan Calligraphers Association and a director of the Provincial Calligraphers and Painters Association, has been obsessed with Mao calligraphy for nearly 20 years. Wang Shuangwu was born in the 1970s of the last century, and his growth experience is immersed in the vitality and background of that fiery era. The melting pot of the army tempered his enterprising, persistent and resolute military temperament. In the army and localities, he received many meritorious awards and was repeatedly rated as an outstanding communist party member. Perhaps it was the red sentiment of this military resume that laid the foundation for his tireless study of Mao Zedong's poetry and calligraphy and the collation and interpretation of Mao Zedong's poetry.
