Introduction to Art
Liu Bingyuan (Liu Bingyuan), born in 1957, is one of China's top 100 calligraphers and painters. He has successively served as the director of the district and town cultural station, the director of the factory, the deputy general manager of Zhejiang Electric Appliance Group (China's top 500), the vice president of the group, the secretary-general of the Wenzhou Management Society, and the national registered senior engineer.
Since childhood, he has been fond of calligraphy, and began to educate calligraphy in primary school, and has been studying Yan, Liu, Ou, Zhao and Lishu, seal script, Xingshu, cursive script and "Erwang" calligraphy for 60 years. He has received the guidance of Mr. Zhang Gongzhen, the president of the Chinese Traditional Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute and the famous master of calligraphy. In terms of fine arts, he has participated in the training of painting professional knowledge of the county cultural center, and has been guided by Mr. Chen Mo, the former president of the Guilin Painting and Calligraphy Institute of China and a famous master of Chinese painting. He won the first prize of the 2022 Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Competition (Yunmo Danqing Cup), the silver medal of the 27th National Calligraphy and Painting Competition (Lanting Cup) in 2023, and the special prize of the 6th (Shenzhou Cup) National Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition in 2023. Gold medal of the 6th (Huaxia Hanmo Cup) National Calligraphy and Painting Competition in 2023. His works were included in the compilation of the "Golden List Collection of Masterpieces of Chinese Contemporary Literary and Artistic Artists", and were awarded the first prize by the editorial board. The Ministry of Posts has collected and published a large stamp album "Glory of China" as a collection of national gifts.
He is currently a member of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, a researcher and professor of calligraphy and painting art at the Culture and Art Center of the China Hanlin Academy and the Beijing Hanlin Academy of Painting and Calligraphy.
