On February 15th, the special opening activity of the Lantern Festival of Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao (Dongguan) Intangible Cultural Heritage City will be held at the Dongguan Municipal Cultural Center. Many wonderful programs such as market, flower viewing lanterns, guessing lantern riddles, watching performances, and watching exhibitions will also be staged in turn to celebrate the Lantern Festival.

On the day of the Lantern Festival, traditional flower lanterns will be set up on the spot, market stalls will be opened, and fun lantern riddle quiz activities will be provided for the public. "Together to Spring, I am waiting for you in Dongguan - 2022 Dongguan Pop Music Season" will also be officially launched on Lantern Night. At 19:30 that night, the rooftop of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Hall of Dongguan Cultural Center will welcome a rich interpretation of Acapella, modern pop bands, rap music groups, new folk music, etc., skillfully combining traditional festivals with modern elements to create a unique festive atmosphere for the audience.
Lantern viewing
From about 3:00 p.m., the 2022 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao (Dongguan) Intangible Cultural Heritage Market was officially opened, and a variety of intangible cultural heritage traditional food, handicrafts and other products were met with the public. A number of intangible cultural heritage items from Yunfu, such as chicken and rice noodle making technology, Luoding tempeh brewing technology, Luoding wrinkled yarn fish rot making technology, and face sculpture art, will appear at the market site.

Traditional intangible cultural heritage items loved by Dongguan citizens will also be unveiled on the day, such as sugar winter melon making technology, Liao Bu Xiang Market, Guan grass weaving technology, Shilong Xinchang drum making technology, Wanxiang production technology, hemp seed tea beverage production technology, etc. On the same day, the Dongguan Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Hall Will also usher in the Millennium Lantern Production Intangible Cultural Heritage Classroom, which will be taught by Zhang Shuqi, a national inheritor.
