On April 28, the "Fighting the Epidemic with Art" Zhou Hanzhang Calligraphy and Painting Photography Exhibition was officially launched in the Art Exhibition Hall of Jianghan District Cultural Center, and more than 60 calligraphy, paintings and photographic works by Zhou Hanzhang, director of Menghan Art Museum, were exhibited on the spot. It is understood that the calligraphy and painting works on display were all created during the epidemic prevention and control period in 2020, showing the spiritual strength of Wuhan people.

Entering the exhibition hall, the calligraphy works in chapter and cursive on display attracted the attention of the audience. Zhou Hanzhang introduced on the spot that during the epidemic prevention and control period in 2020, the poems written by friends who participated in the fight against the epidemic were written by him into many calligraphy works on display, "showing the patriotic feelings of Wuhan people, love of the city and love of life in the fight against the epidemic". Many ink paintings and photographic works also frequently attract people's attention, and a group of paintings based on the poem "Qinyuan Chun Changsha" "Ten Thousand Mountains and Red Everywhere" became the focus of this exhibition, "which is not only a tribute to the heroes of the fight against the epidemic, but also conveys hope and confidence". Zhou Hanzhang said when sharing his creative experience.

It is understood that during the epidemic prevention and control period in 2020, Zhou Hanzhang has been in the studio for a long time, drawing on the experience of frontline workers in the fight against the epidemic and his own feelings, creating many calligraphy and painting artworks, showing the spirit of anti-epidemic in a strong way. In the view of Dong Hongyou, a famous writer and former chairman of the Municipal Writers Association, the calligraphy and painting works on display are stable, powerful and flexible, "focusing on telling the story of Wuhan's fight against the epidemic and pinning on the spirit of the times".

At the scene of the ceremony, Zhou Hanzhang splashed ink on the spot, writing "dedication, friendship, mutual assistance and progress" and "great love without borders and full of river city", together with calligraphy works such as "angels in white clothes", "brave retrograde" and "helping each other in the same boat" that have been created, which were personally delivered to the hands of medical staff and anti-epidemic volunteer representatives at the scene. Han Shuqing, director of the medical department of Wuhan Red Cross Hospital, admired the calligraphy works and said, "The works created by the artists inspire us."

"On the occasion of the May Day holiday, we will send a visual feast for citizens and friends and show the spiritual strength of Wuhan people." According to Sheng Weihong, deputy director of the Jianghan District Cultural Center, the exhibition is hosted by the Jianghan District Culture and Tourism Bureau, hosted by the Jianghan District Culture Center, and co-organized by the Menghan Art Museum, and will continue to be exhibited until May 18. The staff of the Jianghan District Cultural Center also reminded the public that when entering the exhibition, they need to enter the museum with a 48-hour negative nucleic acid test certificate, comply with the epidemic prevention and control requirements of the museum and cooperate with the admission measures such as scanning the code, measuring temperature and registration, and wear a mask and maintain a social distance of more than one meter throughout the exhibition.
