Recently, it was learned from the official website of the China Dancers Association that Hong Xingxing, deputy director of the Cultural Center of our district, successfully applied through the Chinese Dancers Association and became a member of the China Dancers Association. At present, there are only 2 members of the Chinese Dancers Association in our district. In today's program, we invited Hong Xingxing, deputy director (host) of the District Cultural Center, to talk to everyone about her dance career story.

Hong Xingxing, female, Han ethnicity, born in April 1989, graduated from Hangzhou Normal University majoring in dance, and is currently the deputy director of the Cultural Center of Dongtou District, Wenzhou City (presiding over the work). He has been engaged in dance creation and choreography for many years, and his dance works have won awards in provincial and municipal related competitions for many times.
Representative works include "Our Live Room", "Haixia", "Blue Sea of Qingqing Girls", "Ballad of The Grilled Boat" and so on. "Meet Dongtou", "Charming Dongtou", "Welcome Song", "I Come from the Sea Garden" and other series of Dongtou characteristic newly created row dance repertoire have won the championship in provincial related competitions for three consecutive years. Since 2012, it has organized and planned more than 100 literary and art evenings, and delivered a cultural feast with diverse forms and rich contents to the people of the island.
What does it mean to you to be a member of the Chinese Dancers Association?
For me, it may be an affirmation of my own ten years of mass dance. Because I have been at the grassroots level for so many years, I have also created a lot of dances about the grassroots, and bringing them to the provincial, municipal and even national stages is the biggest motivation and affirmation for myself in the future in dance.
In most people's opinion, you are lucky because not many people can combine their hobbies and interests with their work. Do you think so too? In the work, is it also more motivated and satisfied?
I think I am very lucky, because as soon as I graduated, I was admitted to a unit related to my major and was able to engage in some of the activities I liked. I have loved dance since I was a child, including the group of Chinese Dancers Association, I think the big advantage is because I am on this platform, so I have many opportunities to participate in this official competition to create, have the opportunity to create some works I want, accumulate so many works and experience, in order to declare a successful member of the Chinese Dancers Association.
You have created a lot of dance works with Dongtou characteristics yourself, and you have also won a lot of honors, so when choreographing these dance works with Dongtou characteristics, is it necessary to spend a lot of energy on the excavation of these Dongtou characteristics and Dongtou elements?
We want to go down to the grassroots level, for example, if we want to create a work, we must understand his entire background, just like the "Welcome Song" we created, as well as "Charm Cave Head", etc., that is, to integrate some of the elements of the island people's labor, fishing, etc. into our works, in order to reflect a greater sense of visual impact.
As the deputy director of the cultural center, in addition to dance, what do you think is the most urgent need of our island people in terms of cultural activities?
First of all, I think the most urgent hardware need is the venue. Although we have moved to a new building, the conditions are good, but our venue is still not enough; the second point is that our facilities are not complete enough, because people now do not only seek food and clothing in the past, but require spiritual food and clothing; there is also a talent introduction, like many of our experts outside, especially our local people with high visibility and achievements outside, hope to invite them back to bring us more of this culture at the district level. You can also come back to give us lectures, bring back more resources and information from the outside world, so that our children and people on the island have more opportunities to contact the outside world and make our horizons broader.
Do you think cultural activities are important to ordinary people? What kind of relationship or state should be the most appropriate relationship between cultural activities and the masses?
It is very important, and now it is a stage to popularize art for all. I think cultural activities and ordinary people should complement each other, just like many of our current activities need to use the people. We should bring the energy of the people into play, especially the island culture like ours, if we want to create a brand, we have to cultivate our masses, then we can do some immersive performances. Our people are the actors, they can also enjoy it, this is the most comfortable, they need what we provide.
From a young dance graduate to a mass cultural worker rooted in the grassroots, out of the campus for more than ten years, Hong Xingxing's stage has become larger and larger, and behind this achievement is unremitting efforts and efforts, it is the heart of adhering to a "culture to enter the masses", and it is also the responsibility and responsibility to strive to create excellent literary and artistic works and improve the level of cultural services. Since 2012, Hong Xingxing has organized and planned more than 100 literary and art evenings, delivering a cultural feast with diverse forms and rich contents to the people of the island.
