On the 15th, Shanghai Pudong sent a cultural "gift package" - the new museum of Pudong New Area Mass Culture and Art Museum (hereinafter referred to as the new museum of Pudong Qunyi Museum) was officially opened.
As one of the "3+3" key cultural projects that started construction in Pudong during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, the total construction area of the new Pudong Qunyi Museum is 27,000 square meters. It is equivalent to half a small Shanghai Grand Theater and half a Shanghai Poly Grand Theater.
In Pudong's journey to build a leading area for socialist modernization, the rising new cultural landmarks are the "hard indicators" for cultivating cultural soft power.

In recent years, the construction of public cultural facilities in Pudong has pressed the "acceleration button": a number of major cultural landmarks such as the Shangbo East Pavilion, the Shangtu East Pavilion, the Shanghai Grand Opera House, the Pudong Art Museum, and the Pudong Library depict the gorgeous skyline of Pudong public cultural facilities; 36 community cultural centers, more than 1,000 doorstep cultural service stations and a number of towns and village cultural facilities have built a colorful horizon of pudong public cultural facilities.
"But the only thing that lacks a big stage like the Pudong Qunyi Museum that can write and perform their own performances." Why do people jokingly call the new Pudong Qunyi Museum "Self-Hi Pavilion"? This is inseparable from the six functions of the new museum.
The first is to create a university hall for the popularization of art for the whole people. According to the pudong official, the new museum of Pudong Qunyi Museum will open a number of popular art training courses to the public at night and during winter and summer vacations, and create a national art popularization main position integrating rehearsal, training, experience and performance.

The second is to build a grand theater for the whole people to exhibit literature and art. The new building has two theaters, the Grand Theater and the Experimental Theater, with a total of 1,330 seats. The third is to create a large exhibition hall for the creation of literature and art by the whole people. The new museum will make full use of the exhibition space to launch a number of mass literary and artistic creation achievements that reflect the fruitful achievements of the construction of Pudong's leading area and display pudong's history and culture.
The fourth is to create a big show for literary and artistic talents PK. The sixth is to build a large base for the interactive community of the meta-universe. Pudong officials said that it will rely on the advantages of Internet enterprises in Pudong New Area, combine the offline space of the Qunyi Museum and the virtual scenes that young people love to use and play such as the meta-universe, introduce the latest product equipment, build an intelligent venue application experience area, launch several types of innovative network interactive scenes that young people like to hear, carry out distance art education, online entertainment interaction and public cultural DIY experience bearers, and strive to build a demonstration model for digital cultural centers. Whether it is the latest and most fashionable VR equipment or immersive virtual reality technology products, the public is expected to get the experience in the new museum for the first time.
