Known as the "Bridge of Dreams", the Padma Bridge is located about 40 km southwest of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, in my home country. The 7.7 km long bridge across the Padma River is a double-deck steel truss girder structure with a four-lane road on the upper level and a single-lane railway on the lower level.

As an active participant in the Belt and Road Initiative, Bangladesh has cooperated with China on many major infrastructure projects in recent years, including the Padma Bridge project.

I remember that before the bridge was built, residents on both sides of the Padma River had to take a detour to go far to get to the other side of the river, and the whole journey took nearly 7 hours. If people use traditional ferries to cross the river, they will be affected by weather and hydrological conditions, and there are safety hazards in travel. After the bridge project is fully completed, people can cross the Padma River to reach the opposite bank in just 10 minutes by car, which greatly facilitates the lives of residents. As an important transportation hub, it has a more far-reaching significance, which will promote connectivity and economic development in Bangladesh and South Asia.

The Communist Party of China is a political party that seeks happiness for the Chinese and the people, and it is also a political party that strives for the cause of human progress. China actively advocates the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind, and also proposes the "Belt and Road" initiative, borrowing the historical symbols of the ancient Silk Road and cooperating with relevant countries along the "Belt and Road" today to win and develop peacefully.

The construction of the Padma Bridge benefited from China's joint construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative, from which the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind can be felt. This is a very historic global value. There are still many factors of instability and uncertainty in today's world, and development is the key to solving the problem. Only by unleashing the development potential of all countries, learning from each other, and strengthening exchanges and cooperation can mankind better cope with future challenges together.

Beauty and beauty, the world is the same. As early as 2008, when I was a major, I went to a military academy in China to study. Since then, I have known that China under the leadership of the Communist Party of China has always pursued the concept of win-win cooperation. In recent years, China's economic development has reached a higher level, and the total economic volume has jumped to the second largest in the world. While China continues to pursue its own development, it is also promoting the common development of all countries.

In addition to the Padma Bridge, bilateral cooperation between China and Bangladesh in infrastructure construction and other fields such as tunnels and power stations is also advancing rapidly. With the deepening of cooperation, I believe that the two countries will continue to work together and work hand in hand to make the ark of the community of human destiny sail to more open seas and make the future of Asia and the world better.
