In recent years, in order to guide the reading and cultural circles to pay more attention to the translation masters behind the classic masterpieces, Shanghai Translation Publishing House has launched the "Complete Collection of Famous Translations" book publishing project. In January this year, the Shanghai Translation Publishing House has published a book by Li Jianwu, a master translator of French literature, "Li Jianwu Translation Collection" (all 14 volumes). Recently, The Shanghai Translation Publishing House launched the Rongrude Translation Collection (all fifteen volumes), which is the second set of complete works of the book project.

Rong Rude is a senior Russian and English translator in China, and has translated a large number of excellent Russian and English literary works.

The 15-volume Rongrude Translation Collection includes almost all the translated works translated by Rongrude in his lifetime, spanning the two major world literary continents of Russian and English, including Dostoevsky, Dickens, Orwell, Wilde and other world-recognized classic writers, as well as many excellent works of the Soviet period, involving novels, dramas, fairy tales and other genres.

There are many excellent literary works in this collection of translations that have had a long-term and profound impact on the development of literature in China, so this set of translations not only has high literary value, but also has a very high collection value and research value. At the same time, Rong Rude's life is full of twists and turns, but he is over eighty years old and still maintains an optimistic and cheerful attitude, in his self-prologue, he uses a modest and humorous tone to trace the trajectory of his life, we can use this to appreciate the style of Rong Rude, a translator outside the translation.
