Today, Zhao Xinping, director of the Wutaishan Cultural Research Center of Xinzhou Normal University, accompanied Yue Qianhou, doctoral supervisor of Nanjing University, and his party to the Xiurong Academy Museum and carefully viewed all the exhibits in each exhibition hall of the museum.
Mr. Yue Qianhou is a native of Biaoguan County, Xinzhou City, and studied in the History Department of Shanxi Normal University. He was the dean of the School of History of Shanxi Normal University, deputy secretary of the party committee, doctoral supervisor and vice dean. In 2013, he became the director of the Institute of Modern China Studies of Shanxi University and the vice president of the School of History and Culture, mainly engaged in the research of "History of the Republic of China", the history of the Communist Party of China, and the social and economic history of modern and contemporary China. He received his master's and doctoral degrees in history from Nankai University in 1996 and 1999, and from 1999 to 2001, he was engaged in postdoctoral research at the "Research Center for the History of the Republic of China" at Nanjing University, a senior visiting scholar at the International Faculty of Daito Bunka University in Japan in 2006, and a visiting scholar of "Young and Middle-Aged Backbone Teachers of the Ministry of Education" at the Institute of Qing History of Chinese University from 2012 to 2013.
