Gao Xiang was admitted to the Department of Chinese of Nanjing University in 1981, and in his second year of college, in order to promote the creation and exchange of campus poetry, he and his alumni founded the "South Park Poetry Club" of Nanjing University and served as its president. Gao Xiang is generally a man who is silent and buried in his head. After graduating from university in 1985, he was assigned to work at Xinhua Daily and began his media career, successively serving as a reporter of Xinhua Daily, a reporter, editor and host of a special issue of Yangzi Evening News, an executive vice president of Jianghai Qiaosheng Magazine (later renamed As a Chinese Times Magazine), the editor-in-chief of the editorial department of "Decision Reference" of Xinhua News Agency's Jiangsu Branch, and the deputy editor-in-chief of the Yangtze River Delta News Center of Oriental Morning News Agency (external part-time) and other positions.

Gao Xiang graduated from the Department of Chinese of Nanjing University in July 1985 and was assigned to work for Xinhua Daily. Skimming through ripe wheat fields
Skimming the small faces of wild flowers
Cross the tranquil river
