A few days ago, we learned through some channels that BYD Han DM-i will officially open pre-sale in mid-to-late February and go on sale in April. The price of the Han DM-i four-wheel drive version is expected to be 220,000-300,000 yuan, which is very competitive as a medium and large sedan.
Combined with the previously declared models, the appearance of the new car will adopt a family-style design, the front of the car is equipped with a large-size grille, the interior is decorated with dot matrix chrome plating, adding a sense of refinement, and the upper part is a wider chrome strip connected with the headlights on both sides to enhance the visual width of the front. The front surround is flanked by vents for a more sporty atmosphere.
On the side of the body, the Han DM-i and Han EV models are basically the same, and the multi-spoke-style wheel hubs are matched with red brake calipers, and the visual impact is relatively strong. The tough waistline and hidden door handles can better show the sense of technology and power of the vehicle. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4960/1910/1495mm, and the wheelbase is 2920mm.
In the rear part of the car, Han DM-i adopts a new style of through-type taillights, and the taillights use a 3D light cavity inside, which presents a deeper visual effect after lighting. The rear enveloping shape echoes the front enveloping shape with glossy black vents that further enhance the sporty feel of the new car.
In terms of interior, although the interior of the new car is not exposed, according to the design of BYD's other DM-i and EV models, the interior of the new car will continue the design style of Han EV, but in the color matching will add the exclusive color of the DM-i model, the texture is better, with a large size can rotate the central control screen, the sense of technology and the sense of grade are perfectly integrated.
In terms of power, Han DM-i will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.5T turbocharged engine and an electric motor, of which the maximum power of the engine is 102 kilowatts, providing two kinds of capacity batteries, namely 18.316kWh and 37.555kWh, of which the 18.316kWh front-drive version of the WLTC has a pure electric endurance of up to 101 kilometers; the 37.555kWh front-drive version of the WLC pure electric endurance can reach 206 kilometers, and the four-wheel drive version of the WLTC has a pure electric endurance of 176 kilometers.
