In this early spring season, people come early in the spring, and it is time for farmers to be busy. Among them, in the wheat field of Weiwan Village in Maozhuang Town, there are many villagers pulling grass, which attracted my attention.
So I went to the field, a middle-aged woman was hoeing grass in the front wheat field, and her student Xiaoni picked it up in the back and threw it into a bucket, and I saw that the ground had fallen a lot.
She told me that people in the village, in several other wheat fields, were pulling up a weed that the villagers called "knotted poles." Originally, her wheat seeds were quite pure, and there should be no such weeds, which were caused by the neighbor's wheat field next to her.
Her neighbor bought wheat seeds in Huaiyang last year, but last year there were a lot of "knotted rod" weeds. Strangely enough, this herbicide sprayed a few years ago was not enough, and the herbicide could not cure it at all, because this grass was almost the same as the wheat seedlings. She said that while the school had not yet started during the Spring Festival, she asked the students to help clean up some of them quickly. Because of this grass, it is difficult for you to distinguish without squatting in the ground, and it takes effort to pull out this grass, and it cannot be pulled out in the wheat bowl, which makes the people in the village annoyed to death.

This grass has strong vitality and fertility, and the spread area is so large that it gives a large section of the wild oats in the past fields that are very similar to the normal wheat in the past. Unlike wild oats, its ears are like small wooden sticks, slender and particularly hard, and when the wheat is ripe, it also matures and the ears turn black. The people in our village are also helpless, and the serious plots simply do not pull out, let it go, because there are too many.
This affects wheat yield and wheat quality, and it is a common phenomenon, which is not a small thing for our large wheat fields in Taikang County. Do any netizens know, what is the name of this wild plant? Is there no way to govern it?
It is hoped that the relevant government departments will pay attention to it and help the peasants solve this troublesome matter. Whether it's called "knotted pole" or "miscellaneous wheat", I don't think it's its real name.
