1. Jingzhou Libu Yangtze River Railway Bridge
Nature of the project
The Jingzhou Libu Yangtze River Railway Bridge Project is an important part of the National Medium- and Long-term Railway Network Planning (2016-2025) and the main north-south corridor in the "13th Five-Year Plan" Railway Development Plan of Hubei Province (2016-2020).
Construction scale
Jingzhou Libu Yangtze River Railway Bridge is a reserved river crossing channel for Jingyue Intercity Railway and Erguang Expressway, located about 15.4km upstream of Jingzhou Yangtze River Highway Bridge.
The Jingzhou Libu Public Railway Joint Construction Bridge adopts the (92+210+1120+210+92) meter cable-stayed suspension collaborative system bridge scheme, which is divided into two layers.
The expressway adopts the technical standard of two-way six lanes and a design speed of 100 km / h;
The first-class highway (which also functions as an urban road) adopts a two-way four-lane road and is designed to reach a technical standard of 60 km/h.
2. Guanyin Temple Yangtze River Bridge
Guanyin Temple Yangtze River Bridge is located in Jingzhou City, Hubei Province, is the Wuhan to Songzi Expressway Jiangling to Songzi section across the Yangtze River channel.
The Jiangling to Songzi section of the Wuhan-Songzi Expressway (including the Guanyin Temple Yangtze River Bridge) starts from Jiangling County, docks with Jianli to the end of the Jiangling Expressway, crosses the Yangtze River to the west, passes through the northern part of Gong'an County and Songzi City, ends at the Yueyi Expressway in the southeast of Songzi City, crosses two counties and one city in Jingzhou City, is an important part of the east-west river corridor of Jingzhou City, and also provides cross-regional travel services for the Edong and Southeast Hubei areas and the west and southwest Hubei, which can effectively divert the traffic pressure and insufficient traffic capacity of the Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway and improve the operation efficiency of the road network.
Project overview
The route starts from Yuejin Village, Jiangling County, connects with the existing Jiangbei Expressway, crosses the Yangtze River embankment in Jingzhou, and then sets up the Guanyin Temple Yangtze River Bridge near Yaotoubu to the territory of Gong'an County, and ends at the Yueyi Expressway.
The total length of the route is about 56.915km (including about 1580m/seat of guanyin temple Yangtze River Bridge), the whole line adopts a design speed of 120km/h (including 80km/h under the Guanyin temple Yangtze River Bridge), and a two-way four-lane highway standard (including six lanes in both directions of the Guanyin Temple Yangtze River Bridge).
3. Bailizhou Yangtze River Bridge
The Dangyang-Songzi Expressway (including the Zhijiang Bailizhou Yangtze River Bridge) has been included in the 14th Five-Year Plan for the Comprehensive Transportation Development of Hubei Province issued by the provincial government. The long-term plan extends southward to connect with the hunan provincial highway network and connects with Changde City.
The total length is 76 kilometers, and the estimated investment is 15.6 billion yuan.
The Bailizhou Yangtze River Bridge section will adopt a two-way six-lane highway standard, and the connection will be a two-way four-lane highway standard, with a design speed of 120km/h.
The main span of the Yangtze River Bridge is an 890-meter double-tower mixed-girder cable-stayed bridge, with dedicated pedestrian and non-motorized road passages, with a total width of 4.5 meters, of which the width of the sidewalk is 1.75 meters.
It is proposed to set up 9 intercommunication stereoscopic intersections

Interoperability settings
The whole project benefits 1.3 million people in 156 villages in 22 townships and towns along the route, and accelerating the construction of the project is an important starting point for promoting the economic "hand-in-hand" of Yichang and Jingzhou to achieve "stabilizing at the beginning, recovering the yuan and leveling, and continuing to be wonderful", and is also an important measure to promote the connection of the two lakes plain in the western region, open up the "isolated island" of the Yangtze River, promote cross-regional cooperation between the four counties and cities of Dangyang, Zhijiang, Yidu and Songzi, and implement the report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China to "focus on solving the problem of unbalanced and insufficient development" and "accelerating the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt".
According to the plan, at the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan period, there will be 10 Yangtze River bridges on the 483-kilometer section of the Yangtze River in Jingzhou.
