Xu Yuanju is a native of Daye County, Hubei Province, and has been a prodigy since he was a child, with the ability to never forget. After the fall of the Nanjing regime, Xu fled in all directions, first to Chengdu and then to Kunming, where he was captured after the Luhan Uprising. First imprisoned in Chongqing, it was transferred to Beijing in 1956 under the number 12.
Xu Yuanju is full of desire for new students, so he is quite active in accepting reform, has a sincere attitude of repentance, and can also cooperate with the work of the supervision staff, and is one of the better performing war criminals. In particular, when exposing the crimes of those colleagues at the beginning, it was simply "knowing everything and saying everything".
Among the war criminals in Gongdelin, the highest rank and rank was Wang Lingji, who had once paid homage to the chairman of Sichuan and was awarded the rank of general. This person's historical crimes are not big or small, and the most criticized is that he participated in the "3.31" bloody case of killing the masses in Chongqing in 1927. This anecdote is recorded in the drunken "Anecdotes in Prison", which was originally a joke in the meritorious forest.
According to the recollection of the administrator of the War Criminals Management Center, Xu Yuanju's name was originally given at the time of the amnesty of the sixth batch of war criminals in 1966, but it was precisely because the "Red Rock" novel was too influential, "Xu Pengfei" was notorious, and the organization crossed out his name for various considerations. One day in January 1973, Xu Yuanju participated in the labor of the sewing team, and the inspectors thought that his product had not passed the customs and asked for rework. The 59-year-old Xu Yuanju erupted in emotion and jumped like thunder.
