In fact, as early as September last year, the incident of BYD transferring its registered trademark "Wei" to Great Wall Motors has already attracted a wave of attention.
At that time, during the 2021 Chengdu Auto Show, wey, a high-end sub-brand of Great Wall Motors, was also officially unveiled as the Chinese name "Wei Brand", and the new model "Dream Fulfillment" was also launched in the world, and the trademark transfer can be said that the WEY brand has been waiting for a long time.
In November of the same year, BYD also officially released a new product lineage at the Guangzhou Auto Show - Ocean Network, according to the plan, Ocean Network will derive two model series: Marine Life Series and Warship Series. Among them, in the warship series, the first MPV product will be named "landing ship".
Corresponding to the trademark transfer application, it can be predicted that the "landing ship" will most likely debut at the Beijing Auto Show in April this year.
