In the Spring Festival of 2022, the "Punch Card Net Red Exhibition" at the Maoming City Museum has become a leisure and entertainment method for citizens. Walking into the Maoming City Museum, it is as if you are in the long river of history, feeling the changes of the times and experiencing a cultural feast.
A collection of fine products, sparkling. On the occasion of the Spring Festival in 2022, the Maoming City Museum launched a number of temporary exhibitions for the public to visit, among which the "Spirit of the Times , Damei Maoming - Zhang Hongliang Liang Shanlai for the Famous Artists Exhibition" is particularly eye-catching. The exhibition exhibits more than 100 paintings, watercolors and Chinese paintings created by famous contemporary painters Zhang Hongliang, Liang Shan and Lai Weichao.
At the beginning of the New Year, the three artists of the painting world gathered in the oil city to jointly write the prosperous chapter. These works have a wide range of themes and different styles, including characters, landscapes, good fruits, landscapes, flowers and birds, etc., showing the beautiful natural landscapes and ecological livable scenery of Datang Lixiang and Haoxin Maoming, as well as the new style of beautiful rural construction.

At the same time, there is also the "2022 Maoming Citizens' Collection of Spring Festival Exhibition", the collection on display includes ceramics, miscellaneous items, ancient and modern coins, bronze jade, calligraphy and painting ancient books, strange stone root art and other categories, a total of more than 100 pieces (sets).
In addition to these temporary exhibitions, the permanent exhibition of the Maoming City Museum is more worth savoring. Among them, the maoming collection of historical relics displayed on the third floor of the museum selects more than 300 representative cultural relics (sets) from various historical periods in the museum, and the audience can intuitively understand the natural environment, geological characteristics and historical overview of the pioneering and development of the ancient people in Maoming through physical objects, scenes and multimedia playback.

The gushing rivers and rivers, the mangy clouds opened the mountains, and nurtured the ancestors of Maoming. They have lived and multiplied in this spiritual land, jointly created the history and culture of the Chinese nation, and also bred many famous historical figures and left a large number of cultural heritage. Looking at the excavated cultural relics one by one, the mind seems to be brought back to that ancient era, and precious historical relics such as dinosaur egg fossils, Tang Dynasty canoes, and copper drums from the Han to Tang Dynasties show the magnificent historical picture of maoming area.
"Celebrating the New Year, celebrating the Lantern Festival, lion dances, puppet shows, dancing flower sheds..." These folk cultures have gradually merged into the lives of Mao celebrities.
Folk cultural relics are the physical evidence of past labor and life, and they are also the condensation of history and culture. In the Maoming Folk Customs Exhibition, the folk cultural relics exhibited are divided into five parts: traditional farming, rural customs, farmhouse customs, grain plus workshops, and Maoming puppets. Through visiting the exhibition, the public can understand the history of Maoming folk culture and understand the wisdom and hard work of our ancestors.

By elevator, we went to the fourth floor of the museum and saw several prominent characters displayed in revolutionary history, which is also a patriotic education base. The exhibition of maoming's revolutionary history is divided into six parts: sparks of fire, anti-Japanese smoke, liberation torrents, eternal survival of heroic martyrs, monuments to old districts, and meritorious deeds of old cadres.
As we all know, going to a museum to study history is different from literature, different from books, and different from classroom education. Cultural relics are physical objects, through the interpretation of the overall exhibition, can narrow the distance between the citizens and history, so that the citizens in the interaction with the exhibition, in the atmosphere of history and culture, in the touchable exhibits, feel the history, close to history, into it.

It is reported that in order to meet the visiting needs of the majority of tourists, in addition to the closure of the Museum on Mondays, the Maoming City Museum extends its opening hours during the winter vacation and the Spring Festival, and implements the practice of not closing at noon and opening in consecutive shifts.
