On February 6, the women's steeplechase final of the snowboarding event at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics was held at The Genting Ski Park in Zhangjiakou. 20-year-old New Zealander Zoe Sadowski Sinnott broke through the third round of the race, successfully completed the reverse corner inside 900 followed by two back to back 1080, with a high score of 92.88 to win the gold medal for New Zealand, winning the first Ever Winter Olympics title for New Zealand.
