If benevolence and righteousness are mainly embodied in the "big festival" and are the peak of people's integrity, and cannot be seen until an important juncture; then, honesty is mainly embodied in the "small section", which is closely accompanied by people's words and deeds, which is the minimum moral code for being a person.
Honesty is the foundation of making friends
Chinese love to say "rely on parents at home, rely on friends when going out", the ancients put "friends" in the "five luns", which shows how important friends are to a person. The minimum condition for making friends is to treat each other with sincerity. Confucius said, "Make friends and believe what you say." "Man has no faith, and he does not know what he can do."
