On February 8, Tesla's star product Cyberruck pickup truck, although the delivery time has been delayed many times, has received public attention as soon as it was released, including modification and outdoor product companies.

Previously, a third-party company designed and developed a wilderness camping kit for it, so that the pickup could be turned into a small house. But startups from Seattle decided it wasn't enough for Cybertruck pickups to just play on land, so they designed a kit that would turn the Tesla Cybertruck into a ship in an instant.

The concept spawned two products called Cybercat and Cybercat Foiler, both of which converted the as-yet-undisclosed Tesla Cyberruck pickup into a catamaran.

To facilitate land and water switching, these hull kits are cleverly designed to be operated by a single person, including two inflatable pontoons that can be folded ashore and stored in the rear compartment of the pickup truck.

Among them, cybercat will have a top speed of more than 25 miles per hour and a range of more than 115 miles at a speed of 6 miles per hour. The other Cybercat Foiler has up to five outboard engines to provide thrust, is capable of traveling at speeds of more than 40 mph, and has a similar range to the Cybercat.

The concept may seem fanciful, but the company says it is patenting the idea, but when it will materialize will depend on when Tesla Cybertruck will be officially delivered.

Any company that provides a retrofit case or aftermarket product for Tesla Cybertruck needs to understand this, and they need to understand the situation before they produce the product, because Tesla has never been an easy company to predict.

The Tesla Cyberruck electric pickup debuted in November 2019 and opened for booking worldwide. Due to the creative design, cyberruck's initial order volume rose faster than the Model 3 of that year. As of August last year, the total number of new car orders has exceeded 1.25 million.

The new car was originally scheduled for small batch deliveries by the end of 2021, but then the delivery time was postponed several times due to production capacity. Currently, the estimated delivery time for Cybertruck's first owners is 2023.
