On the second day of the Chinese New Year, the Famous Artists Gathered in the Spring Festival Peking Opera Concert sang the Heavenly Toad Yifu Stage, and from the third to the fifth day of the Chinese New Year, four major dramas of "Dingjun Mountain, Yang Pingguan", "Phoenix Returning nest", "Yang Jiajian" and "Wu Zixu" took turns to appear. The Shanghai Peking Opera House presented a total of five performances in three days, creating a wonderful national feast and accompanying the majority of theater fans and friends to celebrate the New Year of the Tiger. In the "Dingjun Mountain Yangpingguan" staged on the third day of the first day, the young writer Lan Tian played two roles, Huang Zhong, who was full of pride, played the heroic Huang Zhong in "Dingjun Mountain", and Played Zhao Yun, who was superior in martial arts, in "YangpingGuan", fully demonstrating a solid foundation in literature and martial arts. During the Spring Festival, the latest work of the Shanghai Puppet Theatre Troupe, "Into the Light and Shadow", was first released in the troupe's second performing arts space "Puppet BOX", sending a different New Year gift for children and adults, which is also a new concept performing arts project for the audience since the first anniversary of the resumption of the Cirèse Puppet Show Center.
With the theme of light and shadow exploration, the plot of "Into Light and Shadow" can see fairy tales such as "Fox and Crow" and "Little Tadpole Finds Mother". What is different is that following the guidance of the "light-walker", the young audience can take to the front of the stage, interact with the little fox, dance with the shadow puppet, and experience the art of puppetry for themselves. Using light and shadow as an art form, "Into Light and Shadow" strives to stimulate children's artistic perception from the perspective of exploration and experience. From entry to "immersion", the 45-minute zero-distance contact makes young audiences reluctant to leave this mysterious and infinite world of light and shadow.
The recently renovated Lyceum Theater is also bustling during the holidays. On the afternoon of the fourth and fifth days of the first year, the "Dragon Leaping Tiger Leaping into the New Year, Shanghai Pai Funny Gathering", jointly sponsored by the Shanghai Burlesque Troupe and the Shanghai Wenguang Performing Arts Group, appeared on the stage. Sketches, one-legged plays, and Shanghai rap dazzled the audience, and the 80-year-old Shanghai rap performance artist Gong Bokang pushed the performance to a climax with a song "Golden Bell Tower".
